He resembles his human self prior to stepping on the path but does not recall anything that happened to put him on the path to begin with. He likes being solitary, but also likes being in the company of other crows.

Atticus wandered into Tapi's territory, bringing with him a plague of insects and a desire to lay waste to whatever stood in his way. Before he could do too much damage, he was cursed, Tapi binding him to the field he was plaguing through a pumpkin he must wear in some way through the loss of his soul. After that he had no reason to really leave. He does not remember anything of his past and simply desires to live humbly in the field he is trapped in. If the pumpkin comes off, however, he seeks revenge for his entrapment. Being easily overpowered due to the nature of his curse, however, the likelihood of him succeeding is pretty slim as the pumpkin is virtually indestructible. |

Brief bio:
Before he gained sentience, Steve was Tea's warhammer. As a joke, someone decided to give him a human form and personality. In doing this, Steve suddenly had almost fifty years of memories thrust upon him at once and it resulted in a lot of anger issues and confusion over his existence. He has a military mindset mixed in with a very chaotic good sense of justice. His rough version of camaraderie through physical violence sometimes scares people away from him, and he has knocked Tea out on accident on a few occasions. He is also commonly accompanied by the orb Earl, who sits in a teacup and screams incoherently while throwing teabags at people. No one knows where he's getting all these teabags and sometimes he has words as part of his screams.

It isn't until she helps Randal escape a freak show on a shipping crate and they run into Howl that she develops lasting bonds with anyone other than her rats and mice. Together they roam about and settle in areas where they make some money, live 'luxuriously' for a time, then move on. It isn't until they settle in Eventide that Garlyn gets a job busing and cleaning up in the Third Jackal. Her rats and mice still work with Howl in the gathering and selling department, and she still thinks of possibly continuing her travels. However, she doesn't mind the roots they seem to be forming amongst these strange individuals. |

When he met Garlyn, however, he was trapped on a shipping crate bound for America. She offered to free him and he had been following her loyally ever since. Complaining every now and again about the cold environments they often traveled to, he did not like Eventide at first. When he secured a job in the kitchens of the Third Jackal, however, he grew accustomed to his life away from prying eyes. |

Upon meeting them, he took an instant liking to their talents for running, hiding, stealing, and providing. He achieved his goals with them: he lived comfortably and well fed. That is, until he was scooped up by Lilith on the streets of Eventide and handed to Jack Edwards as an anniversary present. Brief bio:
Gemmy was allegedly the most volatile in the Phobia realm, and that drew Luster to him. He is attracted to those one cannot possess without a fight. This is what inevitably attracts him to Aiden. After losing his wings in a fight with Zeus, he spent much of his time defending Seda from other cruel Phobias and looking for his lost mate. When he finally found him, he seized the opportunity to be reunited with him in the human realm. Since he rather enjoyed the lives he had seen mortals lead through dreams, he had no qualms about joining the humans. He and Gemmy both lost their souls to Tapi when Luster made the mistake of trying to sit on her to prove his dominance. His flame floats between his wing nubs. |

Brief bio:
Nansi was cast from the Phobia realm when she deemed her mate abusive (she killed most of Nansi's brood in a fit) and slaughtered her before proceeding to seek mortals out as breeders. The issue with using mortals as breeders is that they can die from it and so she broke one of the few cardinal rules of being a Phobia. In the human realm she met up with praying mantis Phobia Geist and they formed a friendship. This friendship is what leads Nansi to the cult when Geist grows attached to a host but discovers his host is guarded by two other Phobias and a skinwalker (who coincidentally has arachnophobia). Her flames are on each of her feet and hands. |

He often has to turn his head from side to side to see things, and spins in circles before launching in a particular direction in flight. While blunt, he is not aggressive. He's a rather benevolent member of the cult who lost his soul simply because he flew into Tapi's range. His flames are on the tips of his antennae. |

Daniel keeps him to ensure he never harms anyone (unless ordered to) again.
