For the first time in what felt like forever, Astrael sat at the edge of relatively calm waters save for the few nymphs hes met before. It was the first time he visited the place alone, only trying to clear his head or at least make all the thinking and feelings stop. He hissed as a nymph came too close for comfort, showing off his sharp slightly smoke stained teeth. The demon sighed heavily and lit probably his 8th cigarette of the day. Closing his eyes and letting his head fall back, he blew out a cloud of smoke, worrying about his recent inability to feel or control when he snaps into his more feral form.

Wuxtry was walking aimlessly, hoping to find something at least relatively interesting. His eyes wandered down to his hands, then back up again to a figure sitting by a small pool of water. The creature looked calm, but slightly anxious as well, if even possible. Wux's eyes lit up, and as he stumbled over to the figure, he got a closer look at what seemed to be Astrael.
"Hey, Ast, are you alright?" He said calmly, not wanting to anger the demon. He looked tense, so Wux held back on all the questions he wanted to ask. He awaited a response, fidgeting, and waiting to get any closer.

The demons eyes opened immediately as he heard a noise and his instincts told him to be ready for a fight. Astrael spun around to a crouch looking at the intruder with a cold stare, letting out a low growl of warning. His wings flared out and tail whipping around him. As soon as he recognized the cultist in front of him, he started to relax again.
"Fuck, sorry there Wux, been on edge too much lately.." He laughed a little, his wings folding in. He flopped back to sitting near the water and sighed. "I'm doing okay. You?"

As Astrael almost lunged out, Wux leapt back, using his tail to balance. He got his balance back, and replied to the incubus.
"Yeah, I'm good! What are you doing out here? Things have been busy trying to rebuild the cult after the fight, I've been worried about you!"
Wux walked slowly forward and propped himself onto where Ast was sitting, and swished the water around with his tail; making messy sapphire ripples appear in front of him. He took deep breaths, still a little shocked from Astraels sudden movements.

"I thought id come here to clear my mind, too many things for me to keep track of and id honestly rather just forget all of it. I guess I missed the fight? I haven't been around much since, well, Dreams and I.. well, you know." The demon shrank back and held his knees to his face, watching the water move around the dragons tail. "I'd be careful if I were you, I'm not all that sure if those nymphs are friendly."

Wuxtry quickly pulled his tail out of the water, and shook the water off beside him. He wasn't familiar with these nymphs, and this wasn't the way he wanted to meet them.
"Yeah, I know. Missing the fight might have been a good thing actually, Tapi was relentless, I'm still having nightmares about it."
Wux relaxed, and slowly moved over to put his head on Asts shoulder. He hoped it would come off as a friendly gesture, he didn't know how Ast might react.

The demon flinched slightly before relaxing again, he still wasn't too sure how to handle physical contact. His cigarette was close to burning up his fingers, hardly even used.
"I suppose it would've only made things worse for me," he said, pushing the butt into his shoe and throwing it away from the two, "I had almost forgotten what it was like in the astral planes.. I spent most of my time there before I came here, I only recently returned but I'm not sure if it's too smart to stay there."
