Morphodoe yawned and rubbed her eyes. The nightmares were really getting to her-- she couldn't get a full night's rest without waking up screaming in the middle of the night. She was always too scared to go back to sleep and due to this she was mostly fatigued. She did take cat naps, but recently she became restless from the activity going around. The Pups visiting for a year, something about a cultist or two; she wanted to go outside and see what was happening for herself rather than staying inside all day.
Now in town, Morphodoe breathed in the familiar scent it had (now mixed with new ones) when her nose picked up something. . . sweet. She quickly followed it to a cafe, and at once she decided to grab a snack.
The cafe was slightly crowded with customers, but the wait in line was worth it. However, there was a problem: there were no seats. Yes, she could eat somewhere else, but she didn't feel like walking around and finding one. Then she spotted an empty chair, and right across from it a female clad in red, orange, and yellow.
Morphodoe took a deep breath and walked over to her, hoping that the female was nice. "Excuse me?" She asked loud enough for the person to hear, "May I take the seat across from you?"
