If something has been made canon and you do not believe it should be so follow these steps to petition it:

Create a new thread titled: Petition to [Change]/[Remove] [Canon Fact] [Review]
State the canon fact
Write two paragraphs detailing why you believe this canon element should be changed or removed.
Set up a poll for people to vote "I Agree" or "I Disagree"
Once the poll has received 10+ votes of "I Agree" it will be reviewed

Official Universe Builders will go over the petition and either deny or approve it. Until you receive a denial or approval please wait to post more petitions. Petitions will be reviewed each weekend with decisions being posted the following Monday
