(Feel free to join in. PM if you have any questions. I think the location we're in is just up in the air especially since we're still figuring the world out and everything. Basically everything is just very loose I guess. ((I really have no idea what I'm doing))) As she walked along the hall scents rushed to her nose, flitting through her brain, and telling her the stories of things old and new. There wasn't any really fresh scents and she could tell that there wasn't anyone in the common room at the moment. She hadn't been in this "cult" for very long, and she still didn't remember what happened during the two or three days that were missing from her memory, and she momentarily floundered both unsure what to do now and relieved. As strangely close to the other members as she felt sometimes she still didn't know really any of them and she still had the same social awkwardness and slight anxiety that she did before joining and before...everything. As she walked into the common room she spotted bookcases and headed to them before she could even process that she'd decided what to do. As she read the titles with fascination thoughts started racing through her head and she completely forgot the world around her. [ Emrys ]

(i know this is old but i kinda just wanted to say something here anway cos why not) If you haven't seen my sona thread or don't know about scorpius or his scorpions, he has a black one that talks like this, a white one that talks like this and a brown one that talks like this. Scorpius himself talks like this! now on with the show! PS, really sorry if the colored text is hard to reaaad! sorry!
A man in a dark suit and blue tie steps into the common room, flashing a sharp toothed grin and black and blue eyes. He scans the room, nodding toward the scorpions resting on his shoulders. There were three of them, a black one, a white one and a brown one. They seemed to be following the man's gaze, surveying everything he saw with even more scrutinizing detail.
"You know what happened the last time we were in this room. Don't let it happen again."
"He's right you know, you can't just waltz in here and start talking to us as if everyone can understand us."
"I'll be fine! I'm just here to meet some people and make some friends! Nothing that dangerous right? Well... I guess some of the creatures in this cult could probably kill me before I would even notice I was dead..."
"Hey! We three would be dead before we let anything with any harmful intent even lay their hands, claws, tentacles or some other appendage on you!"
Sighing, the man stepped forward and towards the bookcases that sat on the right of the room. He quickly pulled a dusty old book with the title "Medicinal Benefits of Scorpions" from the bookcase and sat down in one of the plush armchairs placed there just for reading. The white scorpion skittered down his arm and rested on his lap, allowing itself to be petted while the brown scorpion lowered it's tail and began reading the book the man was holding. The black scorpion turned around and started to survey the room again, taking in every little change, watching as new people streamed in, and saw a tall, lanky figure intently reading a book.
"Scorpius, that's the one."

Enfer entered the room, not realizing he was still in his dragon form as he folded his wings to his back and lowered his head to fit into the room. He was still half-asleep after waking up from his daily nap so he didn't have enough energy, nor did he care enough to shift back to his humanoid form. His lime green eyes sparkled at the sight of all the books as he walked toward the shelves, easily weaving through the other cult members. He may have been giant in this form, but his body was lean and thin, making it easy for him to weave through narrow spaces, especially with the many stacks of books he kept in his room, along with the hoard of precious treasures.
"Now, let's see what we have here..." Enfer used his tail to pull out a book and his front legs to easily grab two more books as he looked at the covers then read the summaries. The hybrid sat back on his hind legs, pulling out about ten more books with his tail and walking to an area that wasn't too crowded so he could read in peace as he stacked the books into a tower and laid down, curling his tail around his body as he opened the first book, using a talon to flip through the pages. He stopped for a moment to look at the other cult members and casted his eyes down at the book once again and continued reading.

Cirrus floated silently into the room, thinking too hard to even notice the others around the bookshelves. Earlier on, someone had told them that they wouldn't be able to read a whole book- or even a chapter- without ruining the ink, and Cirrus was about to prove them wrong. They picked up a book and opened up the cover, trying not to touch the pages too much. No luck. The ink had already started to smudge from the water on their fingers. Frowning in annoyance, they put the book back and took out another, concentating harder this time. Their fingers because gradually less translucent, and they could turn the pages well. It was working, apart from the fact that they had never actually learned to read.
