Flame admired the work she'd completed in only a mere four hours. Change the floor, cover the walls up, learn how to set up a speaker system, make some snacks from the kitchen supplies, add some lights, and you had the setting for a party. Oh, and the bar. But she'd still need someone to be the DJ and the bartender......honestly she hoped some people would just take the position. She peered outside the hall and ducked back in again. She had set up fliers for the past two days, hopefully SOME people would come. She even brought out some board games. She hoped by the end of the night half the people would be sleeping on the floor and it'd be utter chaos rather than barely anyone showing up at all. And she wasn't sure how some of the members would react to it. They weren't exactly part of the post modern age.
She turned the music on, some recent pop song, and sat back in one of the chairs near the refreshments.
She was surprised to see a few members walk in, some she didn't recognize, and told them to come over get a drink and relax. Five minutes passed. If it wasn't for the music, it'd feel unbearably awkward to her. She had in mind to prepare for the worst, but her eyes kept going back to the door. Hopefully some people walked in.

(Hiya ill be joining if you dont mind)
Dreamer walked in with a nervous stride and a small smile on his face. He drapes his cape over his shoulder as although to hide something or protect himself. He finally convince himself to try and interact more. Too much time alone in wood and not enought interact seemed great but probally not the best if he was to be bound to this group for life. So he strolled forward towards the drinks, grabbing one and grasping the cup in hand as he looking around with a new hope in his heart for some interaction.

((I'll be joining in as well))
Lunar followed blindly to the invisible path of music, leading her into a bright and colorfully decorated room. Shielding her eyes from the sudden change in brightness she stepped back, blinking rapidly to cool her eyes. "Wow..." she mumbled, "Did not expect that." Shaking off the exposure she stepped back in, her head lowered so as too keep her eyes shaded somewhat- a chance to let them adjust. Glancing around the room she took in the delightful sights, studying the few cult members hanging about, when her eyes fell upon the two members she did know. Happily she stepped forward, a skip in her step and a song in her heart. Approaching them she calmly bowed and said, "Greetings."

((the party scorpion is joining in))
Scorpius waltzed in carrying a large plastic bag in each arm, analysing the scene before him and muttering a quick spell under his breath as he walked towards the right side of the room.
"humanitatis temporaria"
The white, brown and black scorpions on his shoulders leaped off, and were engulfed in blue fog. When it cleared, there were no scorpions left, but a woman with a curvy figure wearing a white shift dress, a man in his late 20s in a flannel shirt and a full beard, and a tall man with short black hair in a pitch black suit, tie and shirt. The last one in particular complemented Scorpius' own clothing nicely.
"Will you be getting drunk and flirting with too many men and women again, sir?" The tall man, Sebastian, had a voice like a bar of dark chocolate. The way he spoke was almost operatic, deep and rolling.
"You know me too well Sebby. Come on, we didn't spend all of the past two days making this food for nothing. Cinny, Puff, help me with this would ya?"
The bearded man, Cinny and the woman, Puff, darted to Scorpius' side and relieved him of the plastic bag in his left arm. All four of them walked towards the long table where the refreshments were, plopping the bags on the table.
"Now, you three go out there and have some fun tonight, you've earned it. Maybe you can finally mingle with the rest of the cult. It's about time they got to know you guys more. I'll deal with the food."
The three of them turned around and went off to get drinks, leaving Scorpius with the two huge plastic bags of food. He opened his pincer and sliced down the side of the plastic bags, exposing the food that he had made for the party. He had made a large amount of sweet foods, knowing that a lot of cult members had a strange fascination with them. He poured countless cookies, cakes and other sweets into a large glass bowl and started to set up his chocolate fondue fountain. He had bought the fountain two days before, when he had seen the flier for the party. He had also brought a large plate of cut and prepared fruit and marshmallows to dip in the flowing chocolate. He had purchased a special kind of chocolate fountain, this one had three segments. One for white chocolate, one for milk chocolate and one for dark chocolate, allowing the cult members to pick and choose their favourite kind of chocolate. He placed a large cup of fruit skewers to the side and activated the fountain itself. Chocolate poured from the top and flowed gracefully to the bottom, only to be caught again and thrown back out, regally and richly. He opened his box of handmade liquor chocolates, leaving a small notice on the side saying: *THESE CHOCOLATES CONTAIN ALCOHOL*. He then brought out the dish that he hadn't made before, but was very happy with how his first attempt had turned out, a large number of small glasses containing panna cotta. He had used vanilla beans and the best brown sugar he could find to make the smoothest and most delicious panna cotta he could, and had spent a good portion of the day before making them. To top it all off, he had also brought a wonderful bottle of red wine, aged wonderfully, and looked around the room.
That was when he noticed Flame sitting on a chair, Dreamer grasping a drink and looking around nervously, and Lunar talking to the both of them. He grinned, grabbed a glass, poured himself some wine, and walked over to them.
"Do you mind if I join in?"

(I haven't Rped in a while so I'd like to join in too)
Ah, parties, one of the things Aranea more particularly disliked. Too loud, too crowded, too bright. But they did have their upsides, plenty of new cultists and stray members to find. The half-spider decided to sneak around backdoor, crawling along the dim walls until she reached the main room, where she rested atop the ceiling, giving her not only a far better view of the crowd, and distancing herself from the music, but she also had ample opportunity to frighten those who had not met her.
Scanning the room, she saw Dreamer drifting nervously around the drinks, and a new member she had not yet met approaching said boy. "Interesting"

Flame had sat in the fold-able chair for a few more anxious minutes when she spotted another cult member walking in. She stared at him, she hadn't really met this one but she was sure she had heard about him. A memory suddenly surfaced and she realized, ah right, Grey talked about having an apprentice. She wondered how good he was with a sword. She hadn't fought with one in awhile, and the snack gave her an itching feeling to pick one back up.
She was surprised to see him walk over, and she wondered if he knew who she was. But he seemed to be sticking around the table she was sitting next to. And looked nervous.
She didn't have much time to think of something to say when she saw someone she did recognize walk in. Come over here come over here. Pleasantly to Flame she seemed to come right over to them and bowed.
"Hello Lunar. I haven't seen you in awhile. Doing well? I just.....made a party." Flame glanced to the dance floor.
The chandelier looked at the boy.
"Hey, I don't think I've met you. Your Grey's apprentice right?" she asked.
Flame decided it was probably better to get out of the chair with this conversation, and grabbed a Dr. Pepper from the icebox while she was at it. She stared at one of the new members walking in with a plastic bag, probably full of food. She noticed three other people going in to mingle but didn't think much of it. She made a few snacks for people to eat, but she was counting on one of the cooks in this place to have just so happened to make some food. It'd make the place even better. Flame focused back on the conversation.
"So what do you guys plan to do here?" she asked, taking a drink from her soda.
Flame glanced up and noticed the figure up on the ceiling, but said nothing of it as she listened to them.
"Do you mind if I join in?" the teal skinned guy with the scorpion features greeted.
Flame internally growled. He was cute. Why were so many cute guys gravitating in this cult? Granted none of them were on her list for possible dates.
"Sure! Join in. I like talking with new people." she greeted.

((I can delete the post if any of you feel that this is too many people))
Aly wasn't sure how she felt about this development. She had seen Flame setting up the party and fell asleep behind the speakers. It had been a tight fit but wasn't uncomfortable until the music started rattling her bones. She blinked tiredly at the ceiling, and started as she saw someone hanging off the ceiling. Feeling unnerved, she scooted a bit to one side of the speakers and peeked out. Looking around, she saw Lunar and grinned. She pulled herself upright, brushing herself off with one of her wings and, with a glance towards the figure on the ceiling, stepped carefully towards her. Aly lightly shouldered her to signify her arrival and tugged a can of soda towards her. "This is a nice party you have here," she said to Flame, just loud enough to be heard over the music. "I don't know if I've met most of you other than Lunar, though. I'm Aly, and it's nice to meet you all."

The boy had nervously been going through his head on way of approaching people or how to even start a conversation, man he wished he interacted more. Taking another nervous gulp from his drink he went back on looking around. Noticing two member he has no clue who they wer, also he noted one was the host. The other two he recognized as Aly and Aranea who had given him a magic lesson. Suddenly he was thrown out of his thoughts as someone asked him a question. "Huh? Oh, not really. All I'm aware of, is that he "claimed" me." He made air quotation as he made emphasize on the word claimed. He smelled sweets and chocolates, god he could use some sweets to calm his nerves. "I smell something good. Did someone bring sweets?"

Lunar grinned, attempting to mask her unease. She wasn't fond of parties, but then again she wasn't fond of anything really. When she'd seen the fliers she'd made the decision to come on impulse and now that she was here she wondered how long she could make it.
"Greetings Flame," She said in response to her friend, glancing around the room to the many people about. Nodding she replied, "I am fair, I believe. Good to be out and about for once."
Turning towards the boy, another acquaintance of hers. "Yes..." she laughed, "The higher ups as well as some of us here tend to cry claimage when we meet someone we deem interesting."
Grabbing a drink she was surprised when Aly appeared, the music was loud enough to drown out Aly's shadow. Unnerved by this Lunar grinned, "Hey Aly."
Scanning the room again she saw more people had joined, again their shadows had been drowned out. It was strange sensation. It felt as though she had lost a part of herself. Laughing awkwardly, she faced her own shadow- ensuring it was still there. Biting her cheek she said, "This is fun!"

"Well well well, as wonderful as this little conversation has been, I do believe Dreamer here would like some sweets. Luckily for you, Dreamer, they're all over there in that glass bowl. Take as many as you want, but I don't suggest drinking this wine with them. It causes terrible indigestion." Scorpius smoothly uttered as he swirled the wine in his glass and took a sip, feeling the sweet aroma tickling his nose and the slightly fruity aftertaste lingering on his tongue.
"There's also a chocolate fountain, but you all probably saw me setting that up. Anywho, greetings Aly, Flame and Lunar. Oh! I forgot, I brought special food for all of you! For Flame, I brought spicy hand-breaded drumsticks, for Aly I wasn't sure what you would like so I just made my best dish: fresh tomato, sausage, and pecorino Pasta. Last but not least, for Lunar, I made a small roasted vegetable pizza with a spicy chili and pepper sauce! They're all sitting in the second plastic bag on that table." Scorpius added, motioning to the still unopened plastic bag resting unassumingly next to the glass bowl of sweet foods.
*The noise of large amounts of glass breaking sounds behind Scorpius*
"And I do hope that you will enjoy your food, because I have to go figure out which of my scorpions just did that, and when I find out, they're going to be in big trouble."
Spinning around, Scorpius walked off with a flaming pincer and a scowl on his face, swearing under his breath.

Flame smirked amusedly about Lunar's mention of claims when she saw someone new approach and stand near Lunar as she greeted them.
"Hi Aly and thank you," Flame nodded. She was right that she hadn't met her before, but she found her sleeping behind the speakers while she was trying to hook them up. What was with sleeping in such a cramped space?
She noticed the uneasy vibe Lunar was giving and felt empathy, parties weren't her favorite thing either. As outgoing as Flame tried to be it wasn't easy for her. When it came to parties she was a wall flower, and much preferred to keep to staying around the sidelines and eat some food with a small group. Which was probably good for her since she could keep an eye on everyone. Someone else could make a mess.
Any thought of asking Lunar what'd help her drowned out at Scorpius's mention of spicy wings snapped her to attention.
"You made me SPICY WINGS." she emphasized with a sudden adoring look.
Her mouth was starting to water and she looked at the table in fixation. She hadn't had spicy wings in so long and the thought was making her crave it intensely. The glass smashing in the distance didn't seem to faze her and she only seemed to break out of it when she noticed she missed the chance to say bye (and thank you) to Scorpius. I have to get this guy to cook things for me more. She'd check on the mess later.
"Hey, let's go check out the food and sit somewhere a bit quieter. Dreamer join if you'd like." Flame looked at the two girls and smiled before practically running over to the table ready to claim the wings for herself and fight anyone who thought they could take them.
There was a bit of a crowd as a few cultists were gathering around the new plates of sweets and the chocolate fountain, and thankfully no one seemed interested in touching the unopened bag. Flame grabbed it, looking back at the others with a delighted smile and said "I got the food! Where do you wanna go?"
Thankfully the room was big enough that there were spots where the music wasn't too loud. And she could watch the whole place.

He stared as Flame basically run to hot wings like they were on a mission. He turned to other laughing nervous " They sure do love their wings. Well excuse me guys, ill be taking up on their offer and have a taste of Scorpius sweets. Hopefully I dont eat all of it, I do have a nasty sweet tooth" With that he nodded to all to dismiss himself and head to the table with all the surely delicious sweets. He felt himself salivated at all the sweets. He decided to not further torture himself and grab whatever he could take. Plopping one in his mouth he smiled. Man were these great.

Lunar had been focused on her shadow when the mention of food had ensnared her attention. “Pizza?” she grinned from ear to ear, “You made me pizza??” “Woah…” she gasped at the abrupt crashing of objects from behind. “That did not sound at all good.” She noted, shaking her head. Lunar nodded in understanding as Scorpius turned, infuriated, on heels. “Thank you for the food!” she called out, hoping she was loud enough to be heard over the music. Laughing at her own eagerness, she was glad to be somewhat at ease- especially when Flame triumphantly raced past her, making a bee line towards the food. Again she laughed, happily amused. The utter look of eagerness and hunger in Flames eyes and face was amusing. She stood by the table, clutching the food as if it were her child. With a smirk and quiet giggle, Lunar stepped forward to join her companion. She looked back over her shoulder. With a swift motion of her hand she beckoned for her friend to follow. “Come on Aly.”

Aly watched the exchange between the members absently, distracted by the loud music and the static of many minds in one space. She saw Lunar beckon her to follow and realized that she had forgotten to thank Scorpius and reminded herself to do so later. She stepped quickly after her friend, and gave a small shrug at Flame's question. "Wherever you like, I suppose. I don't know about any of you, but I'm not very picky about locations," she said, recalling her long nap behind the speakers on the floor and her habit of hiding in dusty alcoves.

Aranea grinned at the winged girl's start, and watched the group gather together and begin talking. She leaned in a bit closer, straining her neck to hear their conversation, but ultimately decided to make herself acquainted. Scittering along the ceiling, she slowly lowered herself down behind her old student, giving him a slight tap on the back, followed by a smirk she was particularly proud of. "Hello there Dreamer. It's been a while. Still practicing are you?" She asked, all six eyes focusing on him with mischief and interest.
