"Ahhh, this is great. Just me and the water," Dylan said, as he swam around in a small lake in the forest. His indigo tail, with the green and blue extents of flames-turned-fins, moved back and forth, helping him navigate through the crystal waters. Dylan was just in his pants and had his bow around his torso, with his gray jacket, brown belt with a golden circular buckle, a purse-like sack he filled with barriers and small animals, a book with recipes and information on food, and zip-up boots rested against a bush. He felt something scaled brush against his leg, he looked down. He was greeted with the sight of one delicious looking fish.
"Well, I was getting a bit hungry," Dylan said, a grin plastered on his face. He raised one clawed hand, and made a pouncing position, but was interrupted by a sound of rustling leaves and a whisper of a strong voice.
"Hello?" he said, but everything was silent. "W-whose there? I have a weapon and I will use it!" He shouted in the direction of the sound.
((I hope this is a well enough start for you ^^)

There was an outsider in his lands, and not one of the enemies of the kingdom.
That was new.
Sebastian had advised him to see this outsider personally, meet him on his own terms and see what he wanted, maybe he was just stopping by... It had taken him awhile, but Scorpius had finally found the stranger. He was near a lake and seemed to be enjoying the water. As Scorpius crept through the bushes and closer to the man, he realised he was part shark! As Scorpius turned around to leave the man in peace, he rustled the bushes slightly.
"Shit."
Turning around and taking a deep breath, Scorpius stepped out of the bushes, smoothed down his suit and announced in a clear, strong voice:
"Greetings. I do not mean to intrude, but you are in my lands. I am the king here, and I have come to inquire about your reasons for coming to my grounds."

What made the rustling sound of bushes was not a animal, as Dylan hoped it would be, but a man that revealed emerged from the shrubbery. He had dark hair, bright teal yet pale skin, black eyes with blue pupils, a dark blue scorpion tail along with a pincer for a hand of the same hue. He was wearing shoes, pants, and a suit of the color black, and connected to it was a hood. Dylan also noticed above a navy blue tie, was a necklace with a symbol depicting a scorpion.
"Uh..." Dylan muttered as he floated awkwardly at one side of the small lake, "Really didn't mean to intrude on anything, sir! I was just taking a dip before getting back to hunting," He said, as swam back to the shore, were this so-called king stood a few feet before him. As Dylan walked onto the short patch of sand that merged into grass, the blue and green fin extents on his arms and tail split back into flames, slowly drying him.
He ringed out his gray hair and said "My name is Dylan, mind sharing yours?"

So, this was just a hunter who was enjoying himself in the lake? Okay then. As long as he wasn't hurting scorpions it was okay.
"Ah, where are my manners. My name is Scorpius. It is good to see someone who isn't trying to attack me for once. Just what are you hunting may I ask?"
Scorpius turned to glance at the flames licking at the ground.
"Those flames won't burn the ground will they?"
((SORRY THIS IS SO SHORT IM TERRIBLE))

Dylan looked back at his tail and the flames that lined the inner crescent shape his tail made.
"O-oh, heh, no. They are usually cold, but they might if I warm them up enough. That would take a lot of strength, though..."
He awkwardly looked at Scorpius for a moment, slightly confused. He felt like he had something else to say... oh. duh. Scorpius asked about the hunting, too.
"And I hunt... w-whatever I can find, really, heh," Dylan said, with an uncomfortable smile, mentally penalizing himself for forgetting about the second question.

Hmm... at least the flames won't burn down the forest.
"Do you hunt scorpions? Oh and would you like to come and rest in my home after you're done here?" Scorpius clicked his pincer twice absentmindedly before sitting down on a rock and resting his legs.
Maybe this shark kid would be nice. Maybe not. James would like him, definitely.

The last question made Dylan's ears perk up slightly and put a small smirk on his face.
"Scorpions? Not really... u-unless there needed for some potion... or something... I'll totally stop if you want me to..." He said, trying not to offend the man.
"And you said I could go to your house? That would be awesome! I-I'll try not to kill any scorpions, I swear..." He muttered the last part. He really hoped that today would be a good day, and his hopes were seeming to come true. Someone invited him into they're house, he certainly wouldn't have expected that.
