The unicorn stood alone in the corner of the room. The puppeteer known as Aiden had trapped her here after her capture. He had fastened an iron collar around her neck, a chain connecting it to the wall of the cell. The cell door remained open. She guessed he hadn’t thought to close it with her tethered. The chain was only long enough to get within a few feet of the door, as she had tested it earlier. Her ears were flat back in distaste. As if she wasn’t already trapped within this cult, now this! Tea seemed to mean it when he apologized to her, but she couldn’t believe her forest was now swarming with these puppeteers. If she was in charge, this would’ve never happened. If this lantern wasn’t limiting her powers, she could even release herself! Rearing up in frustration, the sudden force made the chain whip and smack against itself on the wall. A loud clank caught Famosity’s attention as she saw the already rusty metal loop that attached the chain to the wall was breaking off. The unicorn’s ears perked up at the chance to escape and began backing up. Putting her weight on her back legs, she strained the chain against its hold. A few good tugs later, the loop almost gave way. It only seemed to need one more, but a noise outside the cell made Famosity stop. Deciding escaping was best done stealthily, she returned to her corner of the room to wait out whoever was walking by.

Aiden stepped into sight of the dimly lit hall, seeming oblivious to the loud cracking earlier as if the sound was common to his ears. He tallied off the newly aquired beasts on an old piece of parchment. Footsteps leaving a dull thud against the frigid floor, those same old, and black boots halted just before the entrance of her crude metal cage. Red eyes flicking up to take in the sight of his prize - and what a prize it was - who knew the kid had headed out to talk to a unicorn - albeit not a live one- but a unicorn none the less, " You liking you accommodations, your radiance. " the last word was rolled off his tongue, a mocking bow following the ill advised sentence, " I can get you more chains to play with I you're bored. " He called.

Famosity raised her head and looked directly at her captor, unafraid. She actually had an air of calm about her. The only tell that she was still on guard were her eye slits. “Do not be proud you have me, I am not yours,” she spoke. Aiden didn’t deserve to even look at her, let alone speak to her. The unicorn had decided to humor him though. He still had some respect for her in him, even if his own pride was getting in his way. It was probably surprising to hear the cult had a unicorn in the first place. “I do not even belong to them,” she added.

He ticked up an eyebrow at her unwavering gaze, leaning lightly against the linked wall of metal that was currently the unicorn's rusted prison. The unlocked gate creaking at the bump, hinges protesting loudly... as if objecting the forced fate - the written role it was given with out consent... the smirk returned to the puppeteers features, bringing his mind back to the present and how it was almost endearing, how she thought she was free," Well then, if you're so free, why are you only partially.... alive? " Maybe if she wasn't... undead he would of thought of letting her free, but the sight of this benevolent creature turned beast was enough for him. Thinning his lips he dropped his gaze from that cold stare, apparently finding the floor below her more interesting. He wasn't surprised by talking animals - not like he had used to be.

“I may be trapped, but that doesn’t mean I belong here,” The unicorn answered, allowing her ears to flick back in annoyance. “The leader wanted me, something she should never have. The same as you.” Famosity had no reason to fear Aiden. She was in a constant state of being trapped and already dead. He couldn’t take any more away from her than Tapi already had. “I’d suggest you set me free and leave my forest immediately, but something tells me you hate good advice,” she added mockingly. Her eyes did not once leave the figure at the door, in fact, her entire being was eerily still.

The puppeteer stepped forward, soundless, his boots, that had been so rancorous earlier, now deafeningly quiet. If she hadn't been watching him Famosity might not have known. Threading a hand through ebony hair - she was stubborn alright - defiant..... not the worst qualities of a beast. She was..... chatting. As weird as it may be, she tense but calm even mocking. Something which Aiden was both grateful for, and wary about. Those were always the hardest to read. " Yeah, yeah princess, just be a good horse and we won't have any problem. " He stepped closer checking the chains from a distance. " Not many belong here anyway. " He mumbled under his breath. She wasn't bad at conversation, he would give her that much.

“Expecting me to be a good horse is most of your problem,” She snorted. She did not mind being compared to horses anymore after being in the cult for so long, but she definitely wasn’t one. She still had some dignity. The unicorn raised her head higher as the man stalked closer to her, as if to appear more large and regal. “You know what I am, but you won’t respect it as you should. Just because I’m a little less alive than most of my kind, doesn’t mean I’m not what I am. You know better,” Famosity said still very calm, in an attempt to appeal to the man’s ego. “Let me go. Let them go too. I’d rather not see them meet this fate now.” The way she spoke was not demanding, but made it seem like what she said was inevitable. That even without Aiden’s help, she would still get out, they all would.

The man's eyes narrowed defensively on the captured creature, signature smirk plastered to his lips " Your petty attempts aren't going to work, not this time. " his wide, fanged smile dropped to a scowl at her stoic words - who was she to assume their failure - no one had stopped them thus far, so how would one measly cult compare to a centuries old system. " Why don't you give up already," he called, another rattle of chains following those pressed words "It'll be better for a beast like you. " Aiden's voice dropped to a threatening whisper, as the man held a new, heavy and rusted chain between his dirtied hands. " Your home will be just fine, maybe even better with us looking after it." Her movements didn't deter him, moving closer yet, the puppeteer stood a foot from her.

Famosity reared up suddenly at his closeness, a high-pitched neigh warned him to not come an inch closer to her. When she struck the floor, her eyes burned in the void-like sockets and her teeth were back to their sharper form. “Very pretentious, assuming you could do a better job than a unicorn. There is no creature higher than me, I AM the divine,” She said challengingly. “As soon as you chained me, you sealed your fate. You chose your own failure. Your beasts may work one way, but I’m way more than them. This cult couldn’t tame me, what makes you so sure that you could. How can you be pure of heart with no heart at all? Congratulations, you gave it up to control your beasts, but you now have the most powerful of creatures chained up in front of you with no chance of appealing to her. I am truly the one thing you can never have,” Famosity snapped out. Her ears were slick back against her neck and her tail flicked dangerously. She was beginning to bore of their conversation. He was becoming more of an annoyance if anything. He was too prideful to see the dilemma he was in, and she’d been happy to point it out.

Aiden nearly jumped back, the sudden movement and sound having the rusted chain almost slip between his fingers and fall to the floor, almost, gripping the chain firmly he stood his ground, fangs bared and words sharp, " Ha! 'Divine' ? Is that what you call yourself princess? " His laugh was loud, hollow and stepped up to test his luck. " You? Your eyes hold a fire I reserve for the most ravenous of Beasts my dear. " The puppeteer rounded her so he was at her side, never taking red slitted eyes off that undead form." Impure. " was the next word he spat at her, " Tainted. " the loose chain was thrown over her roughly, hitting her shoulders and landing on the other side with a loud rattle, " You know nothing of my heart - " Aiden caught himself, gritting sharp teeth at the unwelcomed memory, as he tied the end of the chain low - He was going to teach this beast some manners.

Famosity reared up again and kicked back. “That’s what the world calls me. Being divine is a fact,” She snorted out, stepping more into the corner to pull against the new chain. “On the contrary! I know your heart better than anyone!” She practically growled. “And I know enough about it to know I shouldn’t be scared of you.” The blue fluid seeped out of her faster, dripping from her jaws. “You should be scared of me.”

The man finally raised his voice, snarling at this so 'devine' creature. Her efforts to sway him, twist him from his current goal would be fruitless, " You do not know my heart- It was not removed by human hands- even with out a choice, it was better than waiting for something like you to give your pathetic judgment- " his fist slammed hard against the bars of the cage, red eyes glaring at the beast as he took in heavy breaths. She knew nothing! Nothing! " Look at you, I never knew you would be able to look even - more - hideous. " his sharp voice was cold, anger coursing through his system as he pointed out her newest flaws, turning his back fully to the entrapped unicorn and heading to the other end of the chain, she wouldn't be thinking of escape when he was done with her.

The unicorn didn’t even flinch at his outburst. She kept her weight back on the chain and continued to just stare at the man. It was a little funny, him thinking she was hideous. Last she checked, she was a sight to behold, even like this. Still despising the way he was handling her, a chance flashed in front of her. As the man was walking away from her to retrieve the opposite end of the chain, she took it. In one quick motion, several things happened. First, Famosity lunged forward with her head lowered. Second, the chain hooked to the wall finally snapped off, falling to the floor. Third, Aiden found himself with a bloody horn protruding from his chest. The unicorn had skewered the man in the back, through where his heart would be. She didn’t move from her new position, allowing the man to basically hang from her horn like her lantern.

He had been- he was too slow. King's laughter was ringing in his ears as Aiden gasped weakly, body shuddering every other minute. The pain breaking down his nerves, and all thoughts fled his mind " D- Damn it- " ebony blood dripped down his chin, staining milky white fangs the color of night He had been so stupid in his anger-
He had been tricked.
Wings fluttered through the dense space, sounding closer until talons clinked against the metal bars that held the unicorn. Bright red eyes stared at the scene before it, a low chirp and a ruffle of feathers was all King gave to indicate his presence.

Famosity stepped back in order to slide her horn out of the man. Blood dripped off of it, onto the floor and her muzzle. She made a disgusted noise. Taking a breath, she cooled her features back to normal, save for her slit pupils. The sound of the bird entering made her ears perk up and her head turn towards him warily. She recognized him as the raven who was with Aiden when he caught her. She stood still for a few moments, then began walking around the man on the floor. The blue liquid left blotches on the ground as usual, a telltale sign of where she’d been, as she made her way towards the door and King. Her head was raised high and dignified, obviously intent on leaving without another word.
