@spacedham SilkSorrowsFlame had been guarding the two figures, watching them in the small room they were hidden in. Small little crevices the puppets hadn't gotten to yet, no matter how many they had, the cult was too big. Flame had set up a few alerts in case someone was coming to them, her barrier ability could at the very least buy time, or kill someone if it happened to be a weaker member. But she hadn't expected to be stuck guarding over these two snacks as her job until they woke up. There were more important things to do than guard two bodies that could very likely end up dead again, and she hated waiting around. But it was her job, no matter how much she griped about it sometimes. "Hey, you up yet?" Flame whispered to one of the bodies that had started moving. |

"Welcome back to the world of the living!" Flame said with a large tooth filled grin as she gestured out, only a few feet from him.
"It's nice to see you again, Siren." Flame's smile had a flash of danger as she grabbed him by the collar, and quickly changed back to an amused look.
"Sit up, and get yourself together, soon as you can. You're the first one up. Hopefully Aranea there will be back up in a bit too." she twirled her finger to the recovering body on the ground.
"And be.....quiet." Flame said softly as she stared at the door.
She could feel herself bristling for a fight, she was tense for sure. The quicker in, the quicker out, and she was always moving. Sitting around did not make her feel safe.

Flame's mouth curled into a snarl for a moment before she calmed and said "No, I don't need you to. If anything you should be recovering from death. You remembering what happened to you?" she asked.
"I've seen several others beaten down already, probably killed. You're in a bad spot for sure." she added.

Pain. Oh god was there pain. It felt like she was being ripped open and torn apart with jagged knives. Aranea sucked in a breath...at least, she tried too. The second her lungs filled with fresh air, she coughed for about a minute. Finally, she opened her eyes, blinking them blearily.
"What...what happened? How am I alive?" Aranea whispered, her throat sore. She turned around, looking at the tiny room, and the two creatures in it, Flame, and Nicoli. "Where are we, what's going on? I thought I died." ARanea questioned, her mind full of fresh images of her supposed death.

"Ah, welcome back into the waking world!" Flame greeted.
"And yes, you did die. Horribly probably. Since you don't have your souls though, you can't really die normally, can you?" she hinted.
Flame looked at the door, listening or feeling for a sign again.
"Were in a small room hiding from them. But it won't be safe forever. I was tasked with guarding you two until you woke up." she explained.

Aranea sighed, not bothering to stand, instead just staying seated on the cool stone. "I got reckless. I shouldn't have taunted Them." She coughed once more, clearing her throat of the blood that may have stuck to her esophagus after she was killed.
"Are Perrie and Dreamer okay? Has anyone else gotten hurt?" She paused to look at Nicoli. "Besides you?"

"Ah yes, several cult members have been taken in to be the puppets beasts. You might have to fight your comrades." she remembered.
"As for your friends, I have no clue! Can't manage to know how everyone is. Oh, but trust me you can't just wait for things to calm down. Until they're all chased out things won't be ok. So it looks like you'll have to throw yourselves right back into the fray where you got killed. Higher ups can't spend all their energy reviving you all the time, your bodies were recreated with magic that not anyone can do. So try to do better. Like team up!" she advised.
