Tea wrapped his arms around both of them. "Yes." He really had missed them. They were breaths of fresh air compared to all of the other Puppeteers. The kindest he knew. Part of that had to do with the nature of their bond with Cerberus. Like him, they were not totally without hearts. That changed people drastically. Though Tea wished he could tell them not to harm the cultists . . . he knew they'd ask why and they weren't smart or strong enough to protect him from everything. "Would it be too much to ask not to make such a mess?" That was the easiest way to ask them to calm it down.

The boy's perked up at the bit of affection as well as the blonde's request. It was nice to hear that their favorite trash had missed them too but even nicer to hear him asking them for something. Snuggling closer they looked up at him curiously. "Would that make you feel better?" Abel asked, ears twitching. The mess was half the fun, getting covered in blood made them feel good. But if it would make Tea feel better, they were willing to make a few sacrifices.
They'd help if they could, even if it just meant they couldn't have as much fun.

Tea nodded before ruffling their hair and ears. "It would. Try breaking down walls if you still need to get violent."

Quiet sounds like purrs left the boy's and they leaned into the touch, eyes closing for a moment. They opened again shortly and the boy's grinned gleefully at the concession. "Cerberus showed us how to do that!" Cain cheered.
"Without bringing a building down." Abel clarified as if this made all the difference and somehow it really really did. It would be preferable after all, to not bring the whole place down on their heads and if the twins were anything, they were strong.

"Yes, please, don't bring down the building." He would appreciate less mess in general but a few walls were easier to repair than people.
Beasts.
People.
In his head, they'd always been the same. Not that he could say that aloud.

"Okaaaay." The twins trilled, standing up on the tips of their toes to press sweet, innocent kisses to Tea's cheeks. "We'll do our best, right Abel?" Cain said with a grin.
"Yeah," Abel chirped in agreement, "if it'll make you feel better."

Tea managed not to shudder at the affection. Giving them a small, tired smile, he murmured, "Thank you."

The red head's nodded in response and then withered a bit, shuffling awkwardly. "We've gotta go." Cain admitted regretfully after a moments silence.
"We're supposed to be threatening people and stuff." Abel continued, ears drooping. "Are you gonna be okay alone?"
"You could come with us." Cain offered.
"Or we could come with you." Abel volunteered, attempting to be more reasonable. Honestly they were just reluctant to leave Tea after they'd just found him again. Especially when he looked so upset and they didn't even know why. It made them twitchy, they didn't like it.

He could sense their concern. Rubbing them both behind the ears, he said, "Quit worrying. Go play." He didn't want to see them get in a fight. They were too brutal even for him.

They wilted a bit but nodded. "Okay, if you're sure." Cain murmured, nuzzling his face against Tea's chest once more before pulling away.
Abel was a bit more reluctant to let him go, squeezing harder but not hard enough to break. "Come find us if you need help." He told him firmly and childishly.
The loose haired twin nodded as his brother released Tea. "Yeah, we'll protect you."
