A lazy grin stretch across Chronic’s face as she laid in the comforts of her pit. It was loud within the cult. A few hours ago the cult had a few unexpected guests. There was a constant flow of life leaving the underground as more and more members die.
“Another one bites the dust,” she hummed as the sounds of chaos grew closer to her rooms.

It came to a crescendo with the sound of her door being broken down. Two wayward figures stumbled in, red hair even redder with blood and various other fluids. The twins were as bloody and violent as always with exuberant, childish grins on their faces as they observed the new room. The grins faltered for a moment as they caught sight of its soul occupant before widening in glee, puppy like ears popping up on top of their heads. "Kitty?!" They exclaimed stalking in and towards her.
"Pretty kitty!" Cain cooed, cocking his head to the side as Abel leaned on him.
"Long time no see kitty cat!"

Raising her head slight, she looked over the twins. The blood was a good look. Very bold. "Hello boys," she purred. "It's been a while." So they were a part of the invasion? She shouldn't be too surprised.

They grinned wider, practically hopping in place. "Yeah!" Cain agreed, grabbing Abel's arm as it wrapped around his shoulders. "We missed you!"
"You were fun to play with." Abel cooed, nuzzling his brother's cheek with his own. "It wasn't a very bloody game but it was neat!"
"What're you doing here kitty kitty?" The loose haired twin continued, head tilted and ears twitching.

"I was sleeping," she replied. "But it seems that someone is attacking the cult members and the noise is hard to sleep through." They were still adorable. They made her want to pinch their cheeks.

The redheaded teen's cocked their heads, expression's going from cheerful to contemplative in the blink of an eye. "Oh yeah." Cain started.
"You're here." Abel's eyes narrowed just the slightest bit and he clung a little harder to his twin.
"Which mean's you're in the cult." The loose haired brother finished.

She nearly applauded. "That would explain why I'm here."

The twins drooped, whimpering quietly. "Nooo," Abel whined. "That means we've gotta capture you."
"Kitty would make a really pretty beast though." Cain murmured, eyes still narrowed as he studied the white haired woman.
Abel growled softly and headbutted his twin. "Stupid, of course she would but then she'd get all sad." He drooped again. "I like kitty, I don't wanna make her sad."
"Well," the loose haired brother's contemplation turned back into a grin. "Kitty doesn't look like a beast, we could always recruit her."
That seemed to cheer up his brother who clutched at the idea like it was a life raft. Grinning widely he straightened. "Hey, yeah! Kitty," both boys turned to her, "kitty come join us instead!"

Watching how those two interacted was delightful. "Beast and recruiting?" she mumbled as she lounged back against the cushions. "What exactly are you wanting me to join?"

"Our group!" They chirped in unison looking happy again now that they'd found a solution they seemed pleased with.
"The Puppeteers!" Cain explained while Abel nodded. "We do, stuff. Important stuff."
"And we fight a lot." Abel cut in as if this mattered more then any implication of relative importance. Apparently it did because Cain nodded seriously in response to this clarification.
"Yeah, we fight a lot. Also we're taking over!"
The pony tailed twin grinned cheerfully. "Uhuh, so if you don't wanna end up subju-something, you should join us willingly!"
"Yeah," both boy's expressions darkened, twin sets of fangs glimmering menacingly in the dim light, "cause otherwise we're gonna have to make you."

Decisions, decisions. She'd be lying if she said she wasn't tempted to make the twins happy, but the idea of those two trying to force her sounded equally fun. "Before I can decide, I would like to know a little more about what I may or may not be getting myself into. What is a 'Beast'? Are you two beasts?"

They wrinkled their noses at the question. "No," Cain said as if this should've been obvious. "We're Toy's."
"Yeah," Abel agreed, "cause we're human and stuff. Cerberus is a beast though." His ears twitched at the mention of their companion. "He's really cool."
"Beasts are people who aren't human." Cain clarified. "Its our job to, tame them or something."
"I never really got it." Abel grumbled. "Trash God says that's why we're still just Toys and not Masters."

Trash God? She quirked a brow at that. The information was good to know, at least, even with their strange speach. "Well boys, it seems that I won't be able to join you. The only thing human about me is this vessel and I don't particularly like the idea of being tamed or something along those lines. Dreadfully sorry."

The twins withered under the rejection. "Couldn't we pretend you're human?" Abel whined looking distraught all over.
"Yeah," Cain huffed, "Cause if you don't come willingly then we're gonna have to make you. The trash masters don't like it when you don't do what they want." Especially Liam and Lance, but everyone had their own horror stories where those two were involved.

Chronic frowned, sitting up in the pit to look at them both. She tipped her mask up and offered a small smile. "I doubt they'll believe me if I tried." They looked like kicked puppies. She almost felt bad for declining. "How about you two join me instead? It could be fun." The three of them could leave an allow this little war between groups settle without them.
