"I'm okay, it's not that bad. If I lose it, my body'll make more of it eventually," Aly assured her friend, shaking her head slightly. "Let's keep going." She had slowed down a bit and was already slightly out of breath, the burst of adrenaline that she had gotten when she left the cage already fading away. Her wings hurt worse than she was hoping they would, and even if the bleeding's stopped, she could still feel the effects of the strings. Her body is healing slower than it usually did. She took the knife A offered her graciously, keeping it floating next to her head.
Suddenly Aly gasped, stumbling. A fresh burst of anger hit her, and she could feel the pressure of it's intensity weighing down on her.
"He's coming," she whispered, trying to run faster but only stumbled again. "I can feel him, he's coming and he's angry. Do you remember the way out?" Still panting but running again, Aly tried to orient herself, but there were so many negative thoughts and emotions and it was starting to wear on her.
Suffocating... can't breathe... If she had hands she'd be clutching her chest, her breath catching in her throat.

A may have poor sight, but it wasn't blind. Keeping quiet and focusing on maintaining the press on Aly's wings, it didn't answer to her question, because it knew it had no idea. "We'll be fine..." it reassured unconvincingly, using it's last arm to boost her forward. "You'll get out of here." It used everything it had to shove her along, not caring if her feet left the ground occasionally. "I promise." It muttered. Pulling it's other eye around to the back of it's face, it kept watching for any sign of Addi.
As soon as Addi came around a corner, A took off most of the goo on her wings. It left strips running around the wounds, which solidified and stuck to her feathers for grip. "They shatter easily." It informs softly before flinging her down the hall, careful to do it so that she didn't go head over heels. "GOOD SAFE AND BE LUCK!" it yelled, forgetting the phrase in it's panic. "AND RUN!"
Whipping around, it used the goo it extracted from Aly's wings to throw hardened dagger at Addi, the daggers matching Addi's design to a fault. Most of them would miss, as A's mind was now loosing some of the desperate bravery it had, and was now corroding to fear.
"I'm A-153." It stated, voice wavering. "I'll learn your name before I chase you off. Out of niceness."

Addi sneered at the beast and easily dodged the daggers while spinning his own in his hand. "I don't need a beasts kindness and I'm certainly not going to run from one." He quickly rasied his uninjured arm and threw a few knives, one after the other. "Burn. In. Hell." He punctuated with his knives.

Aly whipped around, about to ask what A meant, and a scream ripped itself from her throat.
"A, NO!" She scrambled to follow her friend but she tripped on her feet in her hurry, and her wings were still aching. She tried to stop the knives or push them off their path, but the human in front of A had so much anger, contempt, how is he feeling so much he doesn't even have a heart s t o p

A looked at Aly. "I SAID RU- shit!" A quickly split its body around the path of the knives, leaving holes where the knives passed through. One of the knives A missed avoiding, dissolving it's remaining limb. Growling, it flung the corroding liquid at Addi, hoping that it wouldn't just dissolve on the way.
"I will after you!" It snarled, now only a round orb floating warily.

"How pathetic!" Addi laughed bitterly, watching the goo dissolve just a few feet ahead. "You've got no more bite, how boring. I'll just get rid of you quickly." With that, he hurled a final knive at what was now a lone head. "Good bye, A-153." He said in a mocking tone.

As the protective layer melted, A began smoking, the second layer dissolving in the oxygen molecules surrounding it. A let out a vicious, un-A-like laugh before staring straight at him, eyes burning. It declared, "wasting your time was fun."
A bomb, A-153 went off. Dark blobs and bits went everywhere, coating the area in it, including Addi. The splatters ate away at the walls and Puppeteer without discrimination, dissolving everything it touched. A's candle hovered for a moment, flame flickering, before quickly suffocating from the oxygen and turning into a light green smoke, falling to the ground with a dull clatter.
A-153's was flame extinguished, the small trail of green fading away.
A was dead.

Aly clenched her teeth, tears streaming down her face as she turned and ran. She could feel the goop on her wings starting to dissolve, and that only made her cry harder.
"I knew you were lying," she cried softly to herself. It's always the same thing, it's always my fault and it never changes, she thought bitterly. Her feet skidded on the cold marble floor every so often and they were starting to ache an awful lot, but she kept running. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, she kept repeating in her mind.

Addi hissed at the pain and quickly picked up his prize, putting it in his bag for now. He did a quick summon for his beast under his breath angry at how that pupbeast was going to excape his grasp.
"Master?" Astrael looked at Addi in fear, wondering why he would have called on him in his angry state.
"Go bring her back for me, arlight love?" He commanded sickingly sweet.
Astrael paused thinking over the options he didn't have. "I will." He choked out and disappeared.

Aly ran and ran until she couldn't anymore, and ducked into a darkened hallway. She collapsed into the ground and wiped at her face with her wing and then almost crying out from the pain that shot through them. The anger was less suffocating there, but the was a new presence that had shifted locations suddenly.
Astrael? she thought, then shook her head. It couldn't be. Astrael felt different from that... That thing that had appeared next to the furious human, and yet at the same time they were the same.
The thing disappeared again from her perception, and the suffocating fear was back again in full force. Unable to stop herself from shaking, she tucked her legs in and pulled her wings around herself, forming a feeble attempt at a shield.

For now, Addi took his time in going after Aly, he knew his beast wouldn't disappoint him. But in the case he did, he would have to pay yet another visit to the demons beloved human.
As soon as he was sent off, Astrael frantically searched for Aly, and came close to her hiding spot. "Aly? Aly, where are you?" He called out, keeping his voice from cracking as best he could.

Aly's breath caught in her throat. She could feel it getting closer, could feel that thing that felt like Astrael but completely different at the same time.
She considered running but she knew it would catch her eventually. She tucked her head down lower and tried to breathe quietly, but still unable to stop shaking.
He's close get away from me it feels all wrong no stop

Astrael quickly spotted Aly hiding in the dark and went to her side before looking to see if anyone was around. "Aly! Aly, come on, we gotta go, please you have to leave." He whispered, afraid of what he was about to do. "Quickly, before anyone sees us."

Aly lifted her head when she heard Astrael's voice, her eyes wide. He felt all wrong... Like there was a static keeping her from seeing anything in his mind.
"Astrael? Why are you here? Wh-what happened to you?" She whispered back. After hesitating for a moment she stood up, watching the other warily.

Astrael flinched but just offered his hand. "I'm fine. This place is just bad. I- I don't want you to go through with branding." He spilled out. "Come on, before Addi comes, please."
Addi grinned behind his mask, he knew his pet would obey him without too much hesitation. For now, he would wait for his beast and began inspecting his new prize, thinking of ways he could show it off.
