There was something wrong, Aly was sure. For one, it definitely didn't feel like he was fine, and secondly, it made sense that he'd know about the branding since he's in the base, but...
"How do you know his name? How are you even here?" Even as she was questioning him she couldn't help following. She just wanted to trust someone and there was someone she knew, telling her that they would get out.

Astrael cringed and wrung his hands together, going in directions that seemed completely random. "I'm here because I was captured, like you." He managed and looked at Aly in nervousness for a second then back to where he was going, trying to avoid the other question.

Aly smiled hesitantly. It made sense that he was captured then escaped, and it'd also explain why he knew she was here in the base at all.
"Alright, I trust you," she said, too exhausted mentally and physically to question him any more.

Astrael stayed quiet and rounded a corner quickly, grabbing her in what seemed to be a hug. "I'm so sorry I'm so sorry." He sobbed. Addi had patently waited at where Astrael had brought his prey.
"Nice to see you again," he laughed.

Aly, who has been following Astrael in a daze with her wings dragging on the cold floor, stiffened when he grabbed her and started sobbing. Looking over his shoulder, she saw the puppeteer who had killed her friend.
Her knees almost gave out at the sight of him- Addi, Astrael had said- holding A's candle in his hand. Then her vision went red and she squirmed out of his grip and hurled herself at Addi, kicking him in the jaw with her heel with a burst of adrenaline that came from the sudden fury of seeing the only thing left of her friend in that fiend's hand.

"Ooo, that one hurt a bit." Addi remarked, holding his jaw. He snapped his fingers at Astrael saying, "Take care of her rowdy behavior, beast." He growled.
Astrael, still crying, ran up to Aly, trying to make eye contact so he could get to work. "Aly. Aly, please, look at me." He pleaded.

Aly turned around to glare at Astrael when Addi snapped his fingers.
"Why are you doing this?" She asked fiercely through her tears. She kicked at his knees, hoping to at least stun him and find a chance to run away again.

Astrael gave a dry sob. "You don't understand, I have no choice! I have t-OOF!"
Aly shot a well placed kick at his kneecap, and he bucked like a bendy straw. Dropping his grip on her, he hit the ground, and held his knee, groaning.
Alyxrie turned and took a running step forward, only to be blocked by Addi, who appeared surprised and displeased. "You kick my beast and trry to rrun?" He growled, twirling A's candle between his fingers. "Škůdce."
Her blood boiled. Drawing the knife A gave her from a pocket in her dress, she launched forward, blade shining under the light of the flames. Addi stumbles back, finding grip against the wall behind him. "YOU VILE WORM!" Seethed Aly, her slitted pupils thin as a thread. The knife arced above her head, aiming right between Addi's eyes. "I'LL M--"
Her words cut off as she fell with a dull thud, the blade clattering to the ground with her. Ast stood behind the fallen body, shaking furiously, whispering something incomprehensible. "...Well done, beast." Cooed Addi, walking over Aly's body and near Astrael. "Let's place herr back wherre she belongs."
As Addi lead the way, Ast picked Aly up as gently as he could, careful not to grip her broken and mangled wings too tightly. "I'm so sorry I really am I don't want to do this I'm don't have a choice" he breathed, his words merging with each other in his frustration. A chained beast, he was helpless to rescue Aly.
Astrael set Aly down softly in her cell,and backed out of it slowly as one of Alyxrie's wings twitched. Addi gave a cruel grin. "We'll be back for yourr... consequences." He laughed, turning tail and walking away, Astrael following like a whipped dog.
And so, Alyxrie reflects and regrets, deep in sorrow. Astrael washes the blood from her wings off his hands, trying his best to rationalize his actions with "I did it for him"'s and "There wasn't a choice"'s. Addi bottles the candle, his prize dangling from his neck by a gold chain.
