Enfer sat at the feet of his so called "Master", a black collar around his neck with a chain attached in the hands of Vermiculus.
"Don't look so sad pet, I'll take good care of you unlike those beasts in that other cult," Vermiculus said, caressing the hybrids face only for Enfer to try to bite him as he jerked his hand back and began to laugh as he removed his mask, showing a large burn on the left side of his face when the two first encountered each other. "So much fight in such a little thing, but we'll fix that very soon," Vermiculus trailed a finger over the hybrids heart where brand he created resided.
"No! I won't become your pet!" Enfer shouted, trying to back away from the Puppeteer, only to have the chain yanked and jerking him forward so he was now on his hands and knees before him. "I bet you'll change your mind after seeing what I have," The puppeteer chuckled, pulling out the blue gem that Enfer always had around his neck.
Enfer stared at the gem in shock and horror,"how did you get that?! Give it back, it's my special treasure!" The hybrid cried, desperately reaching out for the blue gem only to have it held away from him.
"It's just a little thing I found...but don't worry, you'll forget all about this worthless trinket in a minute," Vermiculus dropped on the floor and crushed it beneath his heel. Enfer could feel his heart shatter as he watched his gem get destroyed, the only thing he could remember Caleum by was now gone.
"Oh, don't worry pet, all the pain you feel for this worthless trinket will disappear in an instant," Vermiculus said as he tilted the hybrids head up to look him in the eye, Enfer's eyes welling up with tears for mourning the loss of his treasure his lover gave to him.
"Pl....Please..don't do this..." Enfer whispered, pleading with the Puppeteer as Vermiculus shoved him back to the point were he fell back, using the palms of his hands to hold himself up as the Puppeteer grabbed a branding iron, the end a bright shade of red as he pulled out a dagger and cut through the hybrids shirt.
He put a foot on Enfer's chest, having him laid out on the hard floor as Vermiculus positioned the brand over his heart,"now, sing nicely for me...pet." Enfer's irises dilated as the brand came in contact with his flesh and he let out a cry of agony.
"From my hand to your heart, and my heart in your hold. My strings are your limbs, your limbs are my extensions. Hoof, paw, wing, claw, we move as one. We breathe as one. I the Master, you the Puppet."
Enfer's voice caught in his throat as Vermiculus pulled the brand away, looking at his master piece. "Ahh, such a beautiful brand on a perfect pet," the Puppeteer gently trailed a hand over the brand as Enfer let out a whimper as tears streamed down his cheeks, his eyes void of any life...like a doll.
