It was dark. It was small. It suffocated him to be here.
Dreamer sat alone in , what he believed, the smallest cell he has ever been in. He tried hard to fight back when he was caught, he tried so hard but he was overpowered and knocked unconscious before he had to chance to run. The struggle of his fight could be told through the cuts, scratches, and bruises littering his body. Ripped clothing hung from his weak body and the armor usually protecting him was broken off. He lifted his eyes up, revealing his brown eye and his other usually hidden flame-holding eye. Looking outside he could already see a guard outside and another cell only slightly. His head hung weakly as he tried to move away from the wall but was shoved back from the chains on the wall. He let out an angry scream. As it echoed, the boy laid and reminded himself of the situation and only shook as he took a shaky breath. He heard when Grey was killed, he had only recently been placed in his cell when the puppeteers taunted at him and his death and also about never becoming that apprentice he's always dreamed of. He had angry screamed at them for hours until they found the appropriate way to get him to keep quiet.
They used his own chains to hold him back. He watched as his chains changed to the candle blue light to an angry red color he loathe and listened to the laughter of those humans as he struggled for hours.
Now he waited for someone, anyone to come and save him before they decided to interrogate him about the rebellion or even just flat out torture him for no reason. He dreaded what would happen.
For now, all he could do was wait. Wait for something. Wait to be ripped out of these chains.
Then he would fight back and they would regret ever messing with us and most importantly. Him
He woke to the sound of his cell unlock and immediately tried the best to wake himself out his tired state. Pulling on the chains he leaned forward to position himself to a sitting state, his legs lifted up and bent towards him. Looking up he was confronted by a mask. The most grotesque mask he's ever seen. The crooked smile painted on it sent chills down his spine and his emotional into a frenzy of mixed emotion. His stomach clenched as his eyes located the reason for his problems: The puppeteer logo was scratched into the forehead of the mask. Dreamer cringed in disgust and scooted back further away from this person.
" Hmmm.. so this is the boy who's got my beast's attention." came a voice behind the mask. It's voice was soothing and sickeningly sweet yet so deceiving and dark.
Dreamer stared at the other suspiciously at the other, " Who are you? and what do you mean beast attention?"
The other just stood there, and even though he has a mask on he could tell he was smirking under. The puppeteer reached over to the cultist who was backed up into the wall trying hard to stay as far away as possible. " Don't touch me." he said coldly at the other. The masked figure only laughed and harshly grabbed his chin and held it in place. Laughing at Dreamers face he spoke with such a light tone, " It's funny how you think you have a choice.. but honestly you don't and I intend to keep it like that."
He chuckled slightly and his tone changed to a darker tone, " but i'm not here to have small talk. I'm here to guarantee that my pet stays loyal to me. Unfortunately for you, you're going to have to be cut out of the equation." With a small laugh he stroked the sides of his face.
"A little birdy told me that you seem to hate that little flame you have in your eye. How about I help you with that."
Dreamer panicked at those words and began to thrash around trying to break loose from the masked figure he yelled at him, " LET ME GO, LET ME GO!"
He only received a bone chilling laugh, " It's okay "Dreamboat", it'll all be over soon and i'll be the last thing you see." before seeing a hand cover his eyes. Tears spilled out of his eyes and his breathing quickly.
A loud piercing scream broke through.
Everything was black now.
