Not much could be seen in the dimly lit room, aside from the three figures already in there.
The sirens vision was poor at the angle he was at, bound to with threads holding him in a slumped position on his knees. The collar around his neck was keeping him from looking up to high. Nicoli knew Leland was there though he could hear him snarling while Tea held him back. Apparently they wanted the tree spirit to watch.
He felt his heart skip a beat when the sound of footsteps accompanied the even louder feral sounds coming from Leland. Nicoli craned his neck to see as best he could ears up and alert, there was no doubt about who had entered the room…
"Well look what we have here, a sweet reunion if I do say so myself." Liam purred.
The puppeteer seemed to pause for effect. “Let’s get started.”
The words were like ice to the quivering siren he was not sure the exact details of what was going happen next but it filled Nicoli with dread. He jerked slightly when he could hear those ominous footsteps getting closer.
Leland started to fight even harder than he already was against Tea, which was almost hard to imagine giving his size and strength of the guardian. He was desperately trying to get to Nicoli sensing the horrible mix of emotions that his partner was feeling mostly the fear.
Looking up the siren could all though uncomfortably see the man standing above him. He did not look impressed at all, perhaps he was expecting more from those who had revived. No matter.
He could still use this. Liam aimed a kick at the siren knocking him over and causing the threads to bite in to Nicoli’s skin. The siren hissed in pain but that was the least of his worries once he saw what the puppet master had in his hands.
Resting in his palm was the handle of a red hot brand made of none other than silver. "We had this specially designed for things like you"
Another threatening growl emitted from the forest guardian’s throat.
Liam let his cold gaze stare down the sight of the extremely distressed struggling siren. Placing a foot on Nicoli’s side to keep him still he looked over the exposed midriff.
The tree spirits struggles became extremely violent against tea in the background trying his hardest to free himself from the giant’s grip even causing him to stumble. “NICOLI! ILL KILL YOU! TOUCH HIM AND ILL KILL YOU!”
He spat at tea, for the second time that week being held down. Forced to watch.
With that Liam pressed the white hot brand to the captive Sirens hip. A suitable place for a creature of lust.
Horrible high pitched shrieking and wailing sobs filled the room as the silver met Nicolis skin. He could swear he was about to die again with the agony racking his body. The silver scalding his flesh would leave a permanent scar.
After what seemed like eternity the brand was pulled away.
“From my hand to your heart, and my heart in your hold. My strings are your limbs, your limbs are my extensions. Hoof, paw, wing, claw, we move as one. We breathe as one. I the Master, you the Puppet.”
Sobs racked his body as the strings that tethered him down retreated. For but a moment Nicoli was left on the floor to rest before being yanked up painfully by the hair making him cry out harshly. Liam had pulled Nicoli up so that he was forced to look Leland right in the eye.
"Everything you once had is mine now. But of course, Rowan was never yours to begin with" The puppet master spoke coldly at the forest guardian a mirthless grin on his face.
“But look at it this way, now you have your little whore back.” After that he flung the whimpering siren on to the ground.
“Take him away.”
Tea nodded absently struggling to drag Leland out of the room muttering in a haunting voice. “Come… With me..”
Alone now then puppeteer turned his attention back to Nicoli.
"So you are the one who came back," Liam murmured as he looked over the newly branded siren.
He smirked. "What a good little beast you are."
He gazed over the beast’s body, eyes wide and unfocused, body loose and responsive to touch. How interesting. "Aren't sirens supposed to sing?"
He held fast to the leash as he drew the beast closer.
Not even a whimper. Such a pleasant surprise. Such a interesting reaction.
"You must sing for me sometime. Think you can do that for me?" The beast nodded absently and Liam's twisted smirk widened a bit.
"There's a good beast."
