Mordant placed a piece of linen over Enfer's chest and the flame over his head singed the cult's eye into the fabric. Mordant pressed it lightly to Enfer's wound and pat his hand.
"Yoou iss one of uss."

Eve looked at the three with extreme uncertainty and disbelief. "You guys are crazy! Don't you know anything abut Puppeteers and their Beasts?"
She made a sideways glance towards the branded member, making eye contact but not getting any closer to him. "Who's your Puppeteer?"

Mordant did not like the rising tension and he tugged at his shroud.
"We keep Enfeer from puppet and keep saafe. Iss ok if noot near?" Mordant mused aloud. He turned towards Enfer. "If iss baad. I swallow. Keep saafe until knoow what doo."
