Echo hid herself in Enfer's cloak, knowing it's the best place to hide when danger comes, well, when he wasn't fighting. "Is it the Puppeteers? Are they coming back?" She looked up at him, her-now purple- eyes wide and fearful, all thoughts of sleep gone, replaced by her fear.

"I'm not sure, but we should be cautious just encase," Enfer said looking down at Echo until he heard a sound that was almost like frantic footsteps and he was going to defend himself when a very familiar scent reached him, one that cause him to sigh in both relief and irritation as a multi-color eyed figure ran over to him, clinging to his leg, letting out small sobs.

Mordant was shocked at how the small creature evaded his senses, but nothing surprised him much anymore. The twisted unfamiliar energies in the air made him unable to "see" well. Even now his exhaustion was catching up to him. He grunted in exertion as he saw with his back to the wall, using it as support as he faced the group. The wound on his shoulder was irritating, but he was able to ignore it for the time being.
"I iss... tired... need rest. Tell me whaat do..." He murmured as he left his muscles relax. The eye on his shroud struggled to stay open and the flame above him dimmed in accordance with his low energy. "I heelp friendss..."

Enfer gently picked up the sobbing figure, cradling them close as he asked,"Rasmus...don't cry, it's gonna be okay," a Enfer said in a soft tone trying to comfort the child who eventually calmed down. "Now tell me why you aren't with your father?" The hybrid asked looking down at the multi-color eyed child in his arms, an eyebrow raised. "I was wonder where you went...and papa told me to come find you," the child said, struggling to make out certain words as Enfer felt a vein pulse in irritation. "I swear I'm gonna kill Caleum when this is over...anyways, now I guess I should explain who this is..." Enfer said with an awkward laugh. "this is my son Rasmus," Enfer explained how the child happened to be a hybrid like himself, only shorter by a couple feet.

Echo smiled at him. "He's so cute! Hey, I'm taller than him!" Echo noticed the few inches she had on him. She then turned to Mordant as he spoke. "Go to sleep Mordant." She said gently.
