LOLA
Her neck stung. She now sported a thin red line around it, carved in by Tea as a “punishment” from Liam. The wound hadn’t closed off completely yet, since without Alulle her healing took a while.
If she could still feel anger, she’d be furious at the development. But to be honest the only thing she could feel was fear.
She wanted to be with Alulle. He kept her safe after all. but her company right now was far from pleasant.
Lance was sitting on the opposite end of the couch she was currently curled up on. He was idly flipping through a book, which LOOKED innocent… but Lola knew better
She was just starting to try and relax when Lance slammed his book shut, making a loud noise and startling Lola into hopping off the couch
“hahaha! You even ACT like a rabbit”
Lola doesnt respond, she smooths down her skirt and sits back down. Lance scoots closer to her and she fights every instinct to bolt from the room.
“Try and relax will you?”
Lance reaches for her neck. Lola flinches at the contact
“Wow, someone did a VERY nice job on this”
He takes the collar off
“Nice straight line, not deep enough to kill, but enough to hurt quite a bit… this was Rowan’s doing wasnt it?”
“… yes”
Lance laughs. Loudly. Lola’s ears are pressed flat against her head by now.It was amazing how one body part could change the way you reacted to certain things.
Or maybe she’s always been this panicky, Alulle just kept her calm.
“you’re lucky he didn't kill you!”
She couldn't help but answer this time
“Tea would… never hurt me”
“Oh yes, the cult nickname, I’m sorry to burst your bubble, but Rowan has hurt plenty of people, including your friends”
“mhm”
“I could tell you about the one time he hurt ME”
Something told Lola she wouldn’t lose the paranoid feeling completely whenever Lance was around.
NADIA
Nadia rounder a corner in the manor and walked past the sitting room. Only to backtrack to it once she heard distressed whimpering
Lance was sitting next to Lola, his legs slung over her lap. The girl had a look of absolute horror on her face, Nadia figured it was from whatever Lance was telling her.
She decided to intervene
“Lance”
the blond looked up at her
“Oh HEY Nadia! I was just telling Rabbit over here about how Tea Lost his tooth, you should join us!”
Nadia sits on the other end of the couch
“Liam wants you.”
“Is that a lie?”
“Yes, but it’s my turn to watch her, so go”
Lance stands up
“fiiiiine”
Right before he leaves the room Lance turns to Lola
“I hope that little story was insightful, you’ll know not to cross me now… but if you do, I heard rabbit’s feet were lucky”
Lola’s eyes go wide as saucers. Nadia can’t help but feel a bit bad for the summoner. Once Lance leaves she sits down closer to her
“You can talk to me”
Lola raises an eyebrow
“I’m letting you talk you loser, Liam isnt the only person who can give you orders you know”
Nadia waits for a second. Lola clears her throat
“Why?”
“I don’t… I don’t think what they did to you was fair”
The soft ears perk up a bit “Wait… you dont?
“No. I mean… you’re like 90 percent human! It’s an insult to have you branded… specially with how great of a summoner you are”
Lola scoffs
“If you knew how long it took me to learn how to do it you’d laugh at me”
“but… you fought me off so EASILY, you summoned a HYDRA . With a GUN!”
“The gun was a panic invention… and quite the good one, I should thank you for that! But the summoning… it took like TEN years to learn how to do that, two seconds after you left I collapsed, that took a lot out of me”
Nadia looks surprised
“really? I still.. pass out a lot, even with Micah’s help”
Lola fidgets
“I could… help you with a few spells if you want”
“why?”
“you’re being NICE to me. I’ve had a collar carved into my neck and a maniac describe explicit torture to me in less than five hours, talking to you has been a nice break”
Nadia reaches out to Lola’s hair, petting her absentmindedly
“the ears are really cute you know”
“WOW, and you call ME the loser?”
Nadia chuckles
“Nadia… I think the cult is coming over here soon”
“I highly doubt that, we’ve taken your manor”
“they’ll get here, and it wont be pretty… I want you to run”
Nadia takes her hand from Lola’s head
“but… WHY?”
“I like having a rival like you… and you might be a bitch, but you’re fun. So get out while you can, take Micah even, and just lay low for a while”
“For some reason I trust you… but will you be ok here by yourself?”
Lola nods
“Alulle is coming for me”
Nadia couldn't believe it.
The rabbit still had hope.
ALULLE
He had no idea how he ended up with Lee in his lap.
The dragon kid was calm now. But not so a few hours before. Alulle had found out the unfortunate truth: Lee had been branded a beast.
The kid had been throwing a fit, screaming about how she wanted to go back to Lance… alulle assumed that was her assigned Puppeteer. Tapi was having a hard time keeping her under control, Tea’s empathy was one of the few things that could calm Lee down when she got like this.
Ironic, seeing as the whole thing was Tea’s fault.
So Alulle plopped the dragon kid on Doona’s couch and used his powers to calm her down. It was nearly the same thing he did when Lola got panicky, but it worked. Lee was quiet for a moment before stating
“I could’ve seen Lola if i went”
“I know, but it isn't worth it kid… we’ll get her back”
Tapi sits down nearby
“Listen to the demon boy Lee, our plan is almost set, we’re just missing one thing to set it in motion… and it should be here soon”
Alulle raises an eyebrow, but his questions are answered a moment later when Tea walks into the room
“I’m back”
TEA
He can see Tapi shoot Alulle a look. Tea is expecting the worst, but Alulle is calm… at least on the surface. He can sense how mad the demon really is underneath, and frankly it’s pretty terrifying.
Tapi addresses him
“First thing first… what’s the status on the Pups?”
“They don’t expect the cult to win, that’s for sure. They’re oddly confident”
Tapi taps her chin
“Good. that means our plan can work easily”
Alulle lifts Lee ohf his lap, the dragon dashes to Tea.
“So, what is the plan Candle head?
“We’re gonna sneak the higher up members into the Pup’s HQ”
“Let me guess, as prisoners?”
Tea looks surprised
“How did you know?”
Alulle leans back in his seat
“It’s so cliché and cheesy, but because of that it’s a good idea”
All seven of the demon’s eyes suddenly turn to Tea.
“Now then… what did they do to my bunny?”
“huh?”
“I can tell you’re in a panic traitor, you know what they’ve done, and if you don’t tell me, I’ll rip the memories out of you”
Alulle’s voice is dead calm, but his eyes say another thing entirely. Tea gulps just as Lee says
“You are scary when Lola isnt around”
The demon grins
“thank you”
Tea can feel Alulle’s rage, and honestly, he’d be happy if the demon just took the memories. He felt guilty enough already.
“Take the memories Alulle”
“Oh?”
“it’s a long story”
Tapi sighs
“Give us the short version, I don’t have time to let Alulle tear your mind apart right now.”
Tea takes a deep breath
“She was branded”
Inside Alulle’s mind the rage turns to intense worry… and guilt? That’s weird. Tapi is a bit taken aback
“Branded? How? Lola is human”
“Not completely… did you really think I gave her rabbit ears just because i wanted to?”
Tea understands the guilt immediately. Tapi gets what Alulle did.
“Oh… You did that so she wouldn’t be a full human, so her heart would be safe”
“Yeah… I just… never thought they’d actually BRAND her for just that… That’s why I only changed that one thing”
Tea interjects
“Liam picked up on that… he branded her to get back at you for it”
Alulle growls
“how can he have a vendetta against me like that? I’ve talked to the guy ONCE”
Tea huffs
“That doesn't matter, you took something he wanted”
Alulle groans
“the only thing I need to know is if she’s safe”
Tea looks down
“More or less… she’s holding out ok”
The guilt in the demon’s head multiplies
“She’s scared… but I will help her, no matter what”
He turns to Tapi
“Tapi… we need to get to work”
LIAM
Liam was impressed.
He’d made Rabbit summon every beast he could think of, from basic things to larger , more powerful creatures. She summoned so swiftly, it was obvious she had many years of training under her belt… or collar rather.
But he could tell she was at her limit. She could barely stand as it was. Shivery, weak, those stupid ears drawn close to her head. This must be her human side acting up. But he wasn’t done just yet
“alright then Rabbit, I want you to summon me Lance’s dragon child”
“what?”
“Lee.”
“You want me… to s-summon Lee? why?”
“just to ah… see if you could do it”
“I don’t think I have the… energy for that”
Liam glares at the girl, she recoils from his gaze
“Summon the dragon, NOW”
The girl breathes hard before attempting to perform the spell. The now gold Summoner’s Revolvers shake in her hands
“V-Voco Draconis…”
As she fires her guns a portal opens up on the far side of the wall.
ALULLE
In the middle of the night, a scream pierces the silence in the space station
Lee shrieks in pain and writhes on the floor
Tapi runs to her
“Lee!”
“someone is calling me!”
Symbols appear and surround the small dragon. Alulle flies off the couch as he recognizes them. He needs to stop her from getting summoned away
LIAM
He knows the rabbit expects to see a small dragon come out of the portal.
Not this beast
the dragon is gigantic, fearsome and bright eyed. Lola addresses it
“Lee?”
She doesn't recognize the summoner. Liam smiles
The smile stays on his face even as the rabbit collapses, blood spills from her mouth as she coughs a bit
“Ooooh I’m sorry Rabbit, that might have been too much”
The girl tries to control her breathing, one hand over her mouth as she coughs violently now. She quickly moves out of the dragon’s way before she could get crushed by it
“You probably should rest, get to sleep”
She’s still tied to his will, so she tries to stand, but then falters. Lance, who had jus walked into the room, grabs her roughly by the chin.
“Well, WELL! it looks like you brought me my beast back!”
“what… did you do… to Lee?”
Lance scoffs
" That's not Lee Lola, that's my beast. " He hisses before throwing her to the ground and laughing,
" She obeys me now! "
Liam looks at the Rabbit. She’s clearly struggling with what she had just done. She tries to stand again before finally collapsing.
“oh whoops”
He’s still torn between letting Alulle see her like this, or having her kill him.Liam guesses he’ll cross that bridge when he gets to it, in the meantime he scoops up the girl and hands her to Tea, who had been watching from the doorway
“How is the cult Rowan?”
Tea looks down at the girl in his arms
“they’re shaken… you ‘re getting to them, little by little”
“Excellent, take her to your quarters… I doubt she’s slept since she got here… And I need her to be alert when I sic her on that beast of hers.”
He starts to walk away from Tea
“Oh… and have one of the toys heal up that slight internal bleeding will you? I might have overdone it a bit”
Lance calls for Tea now
“Oh and Rowan? come back after you get her settled, it looks like my beast is hungry!”
Tea had never been more relieved to know the cult would be barging in here soon
TAPI
Lola had managed to summon Lee away. Tapi was furious. Alulle had tried his best to prevent Lee from being taken, but he had acted too late, and now the dragon child was gone.
“Tapi… you do know Lola was forced to do that right?”
The Cult leader glares at the demon
“I have a big urge to tear off her arms for this you know”
The demon sighs
“The summon was weak Tapi… Lola knows when to quit… she’d never perform a summon like that without me anyway”
Tapi huffs
“If you say so… let’s go over the plan one more time”
Tea would infiltrate most of the higher ups into the Puppeteer HQ. All of the best fighters. Chronic, Problem, Grey, Princely, and herself, amongst others.
Once inside, they’d fight their way to Liam. Although Tapi was sure Alulle would beat them all to the bastard. For one thing, the demon didnt have a tangible form most of the time, he could smoke his way through the mansion, and the other…. he still had his bond with Lola, and if what Tea had told them was correct, Lola would be wherever Liam was.
Tapi pats the demon’s shoulder as they’re about to finish their plans
“Save us a piece of that asshole will you? I’d like to get the final blow in myself”
Alulle doesn't smile, but he does answer:
“I just want to get one GOOD swipe at his stupid face… you can take care of the rest once I break the binding he’s got on Lola”
“Good, i like it!”
LOLA
Every muscle in her body hurt. Even opening her eyes was hard. The last thing she remembered was seeing a huge dragon standing in front of her… Lee. Liam had made her summon Lee. Except now Tapi’s seal was broken and Lance’s had taken hold.
The resulting beast was terrifying.
“Oi, Rabbit”
Lola’s eyes open, she sits up and comes face to face with Lee’s head. The dragon is poking into the room through a hole in the wall
“GAH!”
“Awake at last, great, now you can get out of my hair”
Lola turns to the voice. It’s a man, one of the Masters. Lola recognizes him as Aiden
“hey… uh yeah did you heal me?”
“yuuuup. You were pretty fucked up, but you’re all better now so, shoo”
Lola looks at Lee
“why is Lee in here?”
Aiden rolls his eyes
“She blundered through the wall a few hours ago and hasn't moved, she’s been pawing at you too, i had to move you to the other side of the room”
Lola goes pale
“pawing at me?”
“Oh yeah. Now get out Liam told me to send ya to him once you woke up”
Lola looks at the dragon
“but what about—“
“I dont care, just go”
Lola hesitantly walks out of the room. She sprints to the wall opposite to Lee when the dragon eyes her.
“H-hey Lee…”
Lee slips out of the wall and into the hallway, she looks at Lola silently
“Uh… uh… I’m gonna go se what Liam wants”
she starts to dart away when one of Lee’s giant paws blocks her way. Lola jumps away, her ears upright from sheer fear. The dragon scoops her up and nuzzles Lola against her face
“wh-what is going on?!”
“Well, well well! Looks like I was right”
Liam stands in front of the scene, looking amused. Next to him is Lance, who doesn't look happy at all.
“R-right about what?”
Liam laughs
“relax Rabbit! The dragon wont hurt you”
Lee nips on one of her ears, Lola squeaks in fear. Lance can’t help but crack a smile
“You summoned her, and I think she’s taken a shine to you”
Lance scoffs
“She’s merely a prize for the beast you mean”
Lola tries to climb out of Lee’s grasp, but another paw catches her before she can land
“oof!”
Liam clears his throat
“ You summoned the dragon, your blood broke the seal, the dragon sees you as hers. And unfortunately she’s been wrecking havoc around here, only just calmed down when she found you… You’re now that dragon’s toy.”
Lola pouts
“I think being a beast is bad enough”
“Well, since THAT beast wont listen to Lance and only seems calm around you, you have no choice… she’s been breaking walls and our stonework is expensive”
Lola looks shocked, Lee starts nipping at her ears again until she turns to the dragon
“Lee don’t do that”
The dragon pins Lola against her chest and licks her head
“I don’t know what’s worse anymore… LEE I’ll give you dragonnip if you stop!”
The dragon pauses and looks at the summoner . Lance throws a fit
“Oh COME ON it listens to the RABBIT?!?!”
Liam ignores Lance
“You’ll be spending some more time with Lance Rabbit… I have other matters to attend to”
Lance smirks at the summoner
“Ooooh did you hear that? I get to spend all my time with you hahaha!”
Lola’s ears droop as she realizes who she’s stuck with now.
LIAM
The Puppet Master walked through the halls of his manor. Everything was going according to plan, the dragon’s attachment to the Rabbit was a surprise, but not one that hindered anything.
However… The Rabbit herself was a loose string. He didnt know how, but she was steadily regaining her usual self, despite the fact that Liam tried to erase her will. He thought back to what the Time Beast had said
“She wont lose her willpower so long as she loves Alulle”
Liam turned the corner and walked into he room where said beast was currently imprisoned
“Hello Doona”
The star creature turns its head towards him. Her expression is pained. She’s still stressed from the amount of timelines she was being pulled to, but she had enough energy to answer
“what do you want?”
“The Rabbit… She begins to refuse me, you seemed to know something about that”
Doona doesnt answer until Liam turns the power up on the device controlling her
“AaaAAAaH!”
“well?”
“I-I t-told you, she wont lose h-herself to anyone… the bond she h-has w-with Alulle is too strong”
Liam taps his chin
“Do you see this in every timeline?”
“I didn’t h-have to, you s-showed her y-yourself”
Liam deadpans
“I showed her a dead demon Time Beast”
“T-that fueled the fire, she’s determined t-to get back to him”
Liam turns around
“I see… well then the solution is simple”
Doona raises her head
“I have to break the girl in front of the demon”
“No…”
“and then tear that bond to shreds”
Liam laughs and walks out of the room
“thanks for your help!”
Doona shivers at the thought of Liam destroying her friends
“Dear god I hope Rewind gets here soon”
LANCE
He was angry.
The Rabbit summoning his beast had backfired, now the dragon wouldn’t do ANYTHING unless the girl was around. And she was, looking quite frightened, but she was.
Lance was currently trying to train the beast, but the dragon had other ideas. it was laying on it’s back lazily, keeping the Rabbit pinned under one of it’s massive paws. The girl was trying to get out from under the dragon’s grip, but was so far unsuccessful
Lance turns to the girl
“As fun as this is, could you TRY and get the dragon to listen to me?”
Lola deadpans, but turns to Lee, patting the dragon’s chest
“Lee, could you let me go for a sec? Lance needs you”
The dragon lifts its head and then lifts the paw off Lola, who slides off her chest but doesnt get too far from her. Lance beams
“Alright! now get up beast!”
Lee turns her head towards Lola and nips at her ears, but makes no effort to move. the Rabbit calls again
“uh… Lee?”
The dragon growls a bit. Lance gets to a breaking point.
“ENOUGH!!”
The Rabbit jumps in shock, the dragon merely looks at the Master
“I am sick of this beast not obeying me!”
Lance lunges at Lola and grabs her by the ears, she shrieks in pain as he yanks her towards him
“this is all YOUR fault!”
“gh!”
“This beast belongs to ME! You are but a mere toy and yet it still listens to you?!”
Lance pulls her ears upwards, nearly lifting her from the ground. she hisses in pain and tries to get him to let her go. Lance uses his free hand to grasp her neck and squeezes until she stops moving
“If you were bound to ME, I’d tear you to pieces and put you back together so you’d obey! You’re mostly human? HA! You’re a beast, a dirty, pathetic beast! And you should know your place”
Lola struggles to breathe
“Liam would probably not be happy with me, but i think you could stand to lose something! an eye perhaps? or maybe an ear?”
Lance laughs as the girl’s breathing gets weaker
“I dont knooow what I should take but you seem to be running out of ai—“
An earsplitting roar sounds, Lance looks up at the dragon for a second before getting hurled to the other side of the room. The Rabbit crumples to the ground, but gets caught by Lee before her head can hit the floor.
Lance gets up and angrily turns to the beast. The dragon is hissing in his direction. She’s cradling the Rabbit to her chest as the girl regains consciousness
“hah… t-thanks Lee”
the dragon licks her head as if to say “you’re welcome”
Lance glares at them
“tch… so I cant do anything to harm you so long as the dragon wants you, big deal”
Lance points at Lee
“eventually this dragon will answer to me COMPLETELY, and when it does…”
Lee clutches the Rabbit to herself and hisses as the girl cowers
“I will make it claw out your eyes personally”
LEE
The annoying one was finally gone, and she was left with her prize. She summoned her, her blood was sweet, but it broke her seal. The prize was small, soft, and it seemed oddly familiar.
And she wasn’t about to share it either. The little one seemed to know this, and she stayed by her side always. The annoying one had tried to take her and hurt her, and if he wasn’t her so called “master” she would have killed him.
But right now things were quiet. a dim light entered the room through a high window and the room was hot, but that was because of her, she emitted heat after all. She was right about to settle down to rest when she heard a noise.
it was her prize. She was curled up inside the curve of her tail, trying to sleep. But it seemed like she couldnt. The beast squinted, trying to figure out why
“Alulle… A-Alulle Im so so…. s-sorry *hic* “
She was… upset? the dragon decided to listen more
“T-this is… all my fault! w-why did I s-stay behind? I-I’m so s-s-stupid!!!!!”
the prize curls in on herself and continues to speak as if the dragon wasn’t there
“A-and now… now I might l-lose him! hhh….”
She looks like she’s struggling to keep it together before letting out a heartbroken cry
“I’M S-SORRYYY!”
She buries her head in her hands and sobs.
Her prize was sad, she didnt like it. The dragon reaches down and nibbles on the girl’s soft ears a bit. She doesnt notice until she nips a bit harder and lets out a low growl
“O-Oh… Lee I-I’m sorry am I—“
She licks the prize’s head a little. She lets out a watery laugh and struggles not to cry, but fails. Lee licks her head again and tightens the grip on her prize, keeping her close and warm until the distressing noises begin to recede.
“Y-yeah… I’m n-not alone… thanks n-nugget… I promise, I promise I will help you get out of here”
The dragon nips at her ears, she knows the prize meant her promise and she wouldn’t let her out of her sight until she did.

But right now things were quiet. a dim light entered the room through a high window and the room was hot, but that was because of her, she emitted heat after all. She was right about to settle down to rest when she heard a noise.
it was her prize. She was curled up inside the curve of her tail, trying to sleep. But it seemed like she couldnt. The beast squinted, trying to figure out why
“Alulle… A-Alulle Im so so…. s-sorry *hic* “
She was… upset? the dragon decided to listen more
“T-this is… all my fault! w-why did I s-stay behind? I-I’m so s-s-stupid!!!!!”
the prize curls in on herself and continues to speak as if the dragon wasn’t there
“A-and now… now I might l-lose him! hhh….”
She looks like she’s struggling to keep it together before letting out a heartbroken cry
“I’M S-SORRYYY!”
She buries her head in her hands and sobs.
Her prize was sad, she didnt like it. The dragon reaches down and nibbles on the girl’s soft ears a bit. She doesnt notice until she nips a bit harder and lets out a low growl
“O-Oh… Lee I-I’m sorry am I—“
She licks the prize’s head a little. She lets out a watery laugh and struggles not to cry, but fails. Lee licks her head again and tightens the grip on her prize, keeping her close and warm until the distressing noises begin to recede.
“Y-yeah… I’m n-not alone… thanks n-nugget… I promise, I promise I will help you get out of here”
The dragon nips at her ears, she knows the prize meant her promise and she wouldn’t let her out of her sight until she did.
