She tensed as Mordant moved and brought echo in, paling at the sight of all the blood.
"Can you help me put pressure on her wounds while I clean and stitch yours? Then we can go get the other friend, alright?"
Slipping her hand into her trench coat, she withdrew her med kit, laying the box on the ground near the two of them and opening it quickly, sinking to her knees as she selected gauze, cotton balls, some anti-septic solution, as well as an anti-biotic gel and a curved needle, complete with black, dissolvable thread. //last reply))

Mordant turned back at the mention of his name and saw Echo receiving attention. He made his way back and placed his hands over the wounds, pressing down lightly, flinching when he heard Echo groan. He looked at the other cultists hopefully.
"Echoo can bee fixed?" He said with a haggard breath. "Frieend heelp others?"
Mordant sat in silence as she worked and softly introduced himself.
"I iss Moordant." Nodding towards the wounded girl. "Iss Echoo."

Echo whimpered as they fixed her wounds. She didn't like the pain, both from the healing and the wounds. Soon, it became to much, and she fell into unconsciousness

Mordant felt Echo's energy waver and his chest rumbled slightly with a sound of distress.
"Iss going to bee ok Echoo." He murmured. He glanced at the other girl for confirmation, his expression weary and hopeful.

Ky nods and finishes stitching up Mordant's back, moving around to his left to wrap the gauze around Echo's wounds.
"She'll be alright, for now. You should both rest for awhile, though."
She chews the inside of her lip- a habit- and walks to the door, peeking out in search of the still other cultist Mordant had spoken about earlier, before turning back to him.
"I'm Ky, by the way."

Mordant gingerly touched his stitched wound and tested out the other's name.
"Kyy." He mumbled. He saw her peek outside and was eager to help. "Iss other friend outsiide. Ky goo heelp?"
He struggled towards her then gave up and placed himself between the door and the unconscious Echo.
"Ky need heelp, I heelp." He said as he tried to regain his strength. "I will bee fast."

"I don't see them, no. Do you still sense them? I could check down both hallways while you protect Echo. If you move too much, you'll just end up ripping your stitches; that wouldn't help anyone,"
She shrugged off her coat, handing it over to him.
"I'll be right back, okay? It'll be alright."

Mordant took her words to heart and draped the coat over Echo.
"It bee alright." He repeated as she walked out the door. He looked down at Echo and pat her head gently. "It bee alright."

Echo slowly drifted back into reality. The first thing she noticed was the warmth. Then the hand petting her. 'Have I been captured?' Her jumbled thoughts ran through her head.

Echo stirred slightly and Mordant tucked her into a safe corner. It was not yet time for her to wake. She should rest while she could in this chaotic time.
"Sleeep Echoo. Iss ok." Mordant whispered, attempting to comfort the small girl.

Echo tried to look for the voice, but soon gave up. Everything hurt, and she had no energy left. She let herself be once again claimed by the darkness, and soon relaxed.
