It was so quiet in here. It unnerved Call more than she cared to admit. She was in the furthest corner of her cell, far from the doors as she struggled to deal with the wave of claustrophobia that was threatening to take hold. Ever since Idalis had branded her and she'd awoken feeling empty in this cell, she was admittedly nervous. Her hood hid her true form (and the disgustingly painful brand on the side of her face now) but it didn't make her feel much less exposed.
How had it come to this? She was a nightmare entity, devouring all night terrors and causing fear in hearts of humans for centuries. And then she'd made one mistake: leaving the cult to rethink their impending situation.
Now she was a Beast and she hated it. She could sense the Puppeteer and the thought sickened her.
Where were the others? Were they experiencing something similar to what she was? What agony had they endured after being taken? She sighed, hissing through her fangs seconds later as the brand stung.

Enfer along with his masters beast, Shiro, walked through the hall, bough having the brand showing that they were beasts. Enfer noticed a cult member that was caged, well, they'd be considered a beast now from the brand on the side of her face. "Hey, are you okay, it looks uncomfortable in there."

Call's head snapped towards the sound, fangs bared before she took in the stranger's appearance. Her hood slipped a little further and she sighed, willing it to cover her hideous appearance once more. This visitor obviously wasn't a Puppeteer but still she felt wary as she eyed the beast beside him. "Are you a member of the cult? I'm fine. Just...need to get a little used to this cell, I suppose." Not that she planned to. No, the moment that damn Puppeteer returned she planned on trying to get out of this place.

"I'm a member of the candle cult, but I've been branded and I've kinda gotten used to being around the Puppeteers and beasts...I know how to pick the lock on that cage of yours if you wanna get out," Enfer said, looking at the lock keeping the cage shut.

Her flame flared out of interest and the entity slowly rose so that she was hovering a couple inches off the floor. "You can get me out...? Won't you be punished?" Call's mouth twitched, although she herself wasn't sure if it was out of amusement or confusion.

"I already have been punished by my master for the day," Enfer said, showing his detachable head as he used his claws to pick the lock until he heard it let out a small click and he smiled, holding the door open for the cult member. "And Presto! You are out..." The hybrid said in a sarcastic tone.

Call eyed the other with only a small amount of wariness now, edging closer to the open door. Every part of her was screaming for her to leave the cell, to get out of this horribly enclosed space before it was too late. Memories of the last time she was imprisoned in such a small area tried to resurface but she shoved them aside for now.
"Why does your head do that? And what's your name?" she found herself asking curiously, floating through the door before turning to look at the other branded cult member.

"I got decaptiated a long time ago so my head is now detachable. My name is Enfer by the way," the hybrid said

"Interesting..." Call nodded at him and glanced around. There appeared to be nobody else here other than them and the beast beside Enfer. "My name...well, you can call me Call. Is your master around too?" She said the word in a sickening tone, not bothering to disguise her contempt for the group that had branded them both.

"Vermiculus is back in his room, he sent his beast Shiro with me since I have a habit of "wandering off" as he says," Enfer explained when he heard the venom in her voice at the word "master."

"So the beast is his," Call mused, eyeing the animal. "How unfortunate. Will Shiro tell this Vermiculus what you did? By freeing me?"

"Probably...but Vermiculus knows I can't do much without my head so he takes it away for a day or two and makes me do things or he injuries me to the brink of fainting," Enfer said as he ran his hand through Shiro's fur.

The entity may not have had much concern for others but the events with these Puppeteers must have softened her a little because she found herself saying, "Well, he sounds awful. I'd hate for you to go through that but what's done is done, I suppose." Who knew what Idalis would do if she discovered Call was gone. She smirked slightly out of amusement at the thought.

"It not as bad as you think really, but it's worse when he makes me right him since he uses daggers," Enfer said, looking at a few scars along his arms and tail.

"I see," Call said, her gaze traveling to the scars Enfer pointed out. Were all Puppeteers cruel to Beasts? She had heard rumors from when the cult whispered about those taken but hadn't thought much of them then.
