Call's flame flared at the mention of the group but she only sighed. "I believe she has another Beast. I think I'm her second. And she definitely wasn't hesitant about wounding me before." She grimaced at the memory of being branded.

"Branding is another story, but torturing for disobeying or running away is what I'm talking about," Enfer explained, remembering how it felt when he was branded for the first time, his heart almost stopping when it happened

"So this is where you've been pet, you had me wondering if you ran away again."
Enfer faster his eyes to the floor as Vermiculus, a Puppeteer that wore a mask with only eyeholes that had red paint drawn down the mask to make it look like blood tears. "I would never run away, you know that," Enfer said, looking up at Vermiculus who had pulled a dagger out of his belt loop and gently trailed it over his neck, where his wound was beginning to heal. "Good, if you did, I'd make sure you stay unconscious for more than a day," Vermiculus threatened.
"So...who is this?" The puppeteer asked, looking at Call as he put his dagger away. "Sh-She's one of the newest beasts...Call, this is Vermiculus."

Call hissed as she whipped around, taking in the human before her. So this was the master of Enfer. She already didn't like him. What a pathetic way of hiding his face from them. Her flame flared underneath her hood out of restrained irritation.
"I would say it's a pleasure to meet you, but clearly not," she ground out, eyeing the Puppeteer with blatant disdain.

Vermiculus narrowed his multi-colored eyes through his mask as he reached for it, lifting it so his face would be seen, showing the entire left half had been burned badly as if he stuck his face in a fire place. "How rude of me to wear my mask around new pets," Vermiculus said with a Cheshire Cat grin.
"If I could, I'd cut open you and tear out that pretty little heart of yours like I did to my darling dragon, but I really don't feel like getting in trouble with the higher ups again," Vermiculus said, twirling another dagger on his index finger

Call's mouth turned down in disgust at his appearance and words. "Your group of ridiculous humans sickens me," she snarled. "You have no right to do such a thing to others you deem beneath you."

Vermiculus kept a hand close to his daggers and Enfer noticed this right away, stepping in front of his master as he put his hands out to stop him. "Please calm down...if your angry, take it out on me,"Enfer said, managing to calm the puppeteer who looked down at him and caressed his face as he tilted the hybrids head up to look him in his multi-colored eyes.
"Okay pet, I'll do this tor you just this once," Vermiculus said petting his head, but he swiftly pulled out a dagger, trailing it over his throat as he said I a threatening tone,"but if you ever think of interrupting me again, I'll make sure you don't stay unconscious for just a day." Enfer gulped and nodded as a sign he understood.
Vermiculus twirled the dagger on his index finger as he glanced at the newest beast once more before walking off, leaving the two alone once again. "Please don't get on his bad side, when he gets mad, I get the reprocutions," just as Enfer said this, a dagger embedded itself into the back of his head. The hybrid felt the pain, but he's grown so accustom to it that getting hit in vital areas is normal to him.

Call watched the Puppeteer go before turning back to Enfer, emerald flame flaring brightly. She forced herself to calm down, to reign in her anger, as she spoke. The dagger that embedded itself in the other's head made her growl nonetheless. The fact that these humans could treat them like inferior beings was pathetic.
"I will try, but I make no promises. These fools have no right to do these things to members of the cult." When would this suffering end? She sighed and glanced back at the cell she had just been freed from. "I don't know how long it will be before Idalis returns... Perhaps we both should leave the area."

"Is there a way out of this place?" Call inquired, nudging the cell door closed before turning to face the other. "I would prefer not to stay here any longer than necessary. I'm not planning on being around to see her reaction to this little escapade..."

Call nodded in acknowledgement and trailed behind the other, glancing back one last time before turning away from her former prison. Hopefully this meant that she could return to the cult without any further delay and figure out if anyone had managed to infiltrate this place yet. Anyone that wasn't a Beast, that is.

Enfer glanced around the corner to see if any puppeteers were around and saw none and continued walking, glancing to the cult member beside him then asked,"what are you gonna do once you get back to the cult?"
