The hybrid was practically drenched in his own blood as he glared at his enemy, a chimera, practically ten times his side, scratches litering it's body from the hybrids claws. Dante, now possessing Enfer's body, snarled and lunged at the creatures throat, sinking his teeth into its throat as he dug his claws into its chest.
Dante was thrown back by the chimera, slamming into the trunk of a tree as he coughed up great amounts of blood, his heart beating a mile per minute as he shook his head saying to himself,"I have to stay in control," over and over again as he went for the heels only to be thrown back again by the creatures tail.
Dante gasped out for breath, his irises dilated as his eyes went from red to white, his lips curling back into a snarl as spines grew down his back and the length of his tail and he lunged again, pining it to the ground as he sunk his claws into its chest tearing it open as the chimera cried out in agony, it's pained cries going unheard as the hybrid.

Echo was standing back during the battle, watching. Her eyes widened at Enfer, her breath stopping. She closed her eyes, stepping back and trying to block out the horrible sounds.
Hang in there little bird She heard Sicurro say.

The hybrids maw was dripping with crimson blood as his tail and wings twitched sporadically. His ears twitched as he looked over his shoulder at Echo, growling as he bared his fangs and slow approached her, his claws digging into the ground as he walked on all fours, his pupils thin slits and the urge to kill running through his veins.

Echo opened her eyes and her hand over mouth kept her silent. She backed up slowly, trying to get some distance in between them.

The hybrid let out a ear piercing screech at the movement, lunging at her with a snarl as he pinned her to the ground, his claws digging into her skin as he continued to growl, baring his fangs as steam streamed out between his clinched teeth, showing that he was about breathe fire

Echo screamed, thrashing under the hybrid. "Enfer! Dante! Please! Please stop!" She yelled, her multicolored eyes staring into his.

The hybrid growled, ready to let out a stream of fire, until his eyes widened and the flame stopped in his throat. The sound of her voice terrified him as his left eye was shown as a blend between red and violet, tears streaming from that one eye as his right kept that same insane look as he shook his head, snarling and growling as he managed to scratch Echo in the process.
He got off Echo, slamming into a tree, yelping and whining as he injured himself and stumbled around blindly. Enfer/Dante looked back at Echo and shook their head again, injuring himself even further to the point where his forehead began to bleed, darken blood trickling down his face and onto the ground as he swayed and forced out the word:
"R...Ru...RUn..."
His voice was demonic and distorted like a demon as his eyes glowed white, every ounce of sanity he held beginning to break away as he let out an earth shaking screech that sounded a lot like a cry of pure agony, as if the hybrid was in pain.

Echo nodded, tears streaming down her face as she opened her wings, lifting herself from the ground. "Please just snap out of it." She whispered

Enfer/Dante cried out in agony, his body twitching as his eyes slowly lost all life in them, as he stood, swaying as his darkened eyes glanced to where the girl had flown off. He grinned psychotically, as he climbed into a tree, reaching the very top as he saw the girl flying off.
"YoU ReALlY ThiNk YoU CAn EsCApe ME!?" The hybrids voice was demonic with a psychotic tone as he laughed, spreading his own wings, ready to fly off after her, when he felt his body freeze as he hesitated, folding his wings to his back as he followed, by jumping from tree to tree, his spines standing out the most as his claws broke through each branch he jumped to.
It didn't take very long to catch up as he sunk his teeth into her ankle, pulling her to the ground as he put a clawed hand on he stomach, sinking them in until blood began to well up. "nOW...WhERe WerE WE? RIgHt, I WaS GoiNg To TEaR oUt ThAT PrETTy LiTTle HeARt Of YOuRs! AnD I'M NoT lEtTInG ThOsE TWo INtErfErE!" The hybrid snarled, going to sink his claws in even further.

Echo screamed at the pain, still struggling. "Please it hurts! Please!" She cried. Her small hands beat at him, she was using all her strength in her punches.
Get into his mind Sicurro coaxed
Echo listened, stopping her motions and focusing on Enfer. She tried her hardest to ignore the pain and forced herself into his mind.

The hybrid froze, his eyes flickering between violet, red, and white as Echo entered his mind. Within his very own mindscape, Enfer's body was literally being run through with metal poles, multiple ones being jabbed into him to hold him back as he continued to cry out in pain, blood dripping from each wound.
Dante on the other hand had something a little worse, he was chained down, the same metal poles going through his entire body, all the way from the back of his hands to the tip of his tail.
Enfer weakly looked up, sensing another person in his mind, his eyes widening as he asked in a panicked tone,"what are you doing here Echo!? It's dangerous to come into my mind when I'm like this!"

Echo's mental form looked at the two. "Sicurro told me to come." Sicurro appeared beside Echo, the girl only making it to barely above his belly button.

"Hmm...So, this is that Siccuro I've been hearing about..." Dante forced himself to his feet, the steel poles impaling him, slowly breaking off from the ground, but staying embedded deep in his body as he approached them, the shackles on his wrists and ankles dragging behind him.
Dante's form was different while he was in the mindscape, he looked more human than normal, if it wasn't for the tail and wings,"this is my true form if you happen to be wondering," Dante said, pushing back his inky black hair then turned to Enfer with a saddened expression,"please...help him, he's in pure agony and I can't stand it..." Dante said, trying to approach the hybrid, only to be stopped a couple inches away when he tried to pet Enfer's head to reassure him that everything was okay.

Echo nodded, carefully walking towards Enfer as Sicurro went to help Dante. "Hey, this will only hurt for a second." She reassured him. The Mindbender placed her small hand on his head, her flame encased her and. A light filled the dark space as she worked her flame into his mind.

Enfer almost collapsed as he felt the strain of the steel poles disappear, but the pain still remained as he stumbled, lazily flapping his wings to keep himself up right as Siccuro released Dante who rubbed his wrists and thanked him.
"Thank you," both said as Dante helped to keep Enfer steady as the dragon collapsed against him and Dante gently pet his head, soothing him as he gently laid him down and took over for the hybrid, now thhat they had control over themselves.
