Part two of the skeleton war, part one here, if you weren't in the first part you can still join in!
The sound of metal on metal resounded throughout the forge, steam rising as the red hot metal was doused in water to cool. Wiping sweat from her brow Amaya placed the newly forged spear aside, ever since the most recent attack on the cult she'd been restocking her supplies, both the ones in her home and the caches hidden around the cult territory, they didn't know when or where backbones would reappear after all. Turning to leave the forge the door was just creaking open when the scratching began. Carefully not reacting she continues up the house, getting half way up the ramp to the main rooms before the beast jumps her. Cracking it against the wall she halts in surprise, though the glimpse in the cave had been short she was sure it hadn't looked like this, Flesh replaced with bones the creature was white where it had been black, the eight greedy beads it had for eyes had been turned into pits of black, the only similarities left the exoskeleton of the spider. Shattering the things skull she bolted back down the hall, grabbed the drop bag she'd kept around for this purpose, and flew off into the night, she didn't know where the others where but she knew echo's house and could warn her at the least. Behind her the cave beasts quickly overtook the house, watching their prey escape hatefully. |

Enfer's pointed ears twitched from the sound of bones clattering, he ignored it for the time being before the sound grew louder to the point where he couldn't ignore it as he yawned and stretched like a cat, jumping down from the beam he was sleeping on and using his wings to slow his descent as he landed on all fours, still half asleep as he walked to the nearest window and looked outside to see that those skeletons were back.
"Oh you've got to be kidding me," he said under his breath, sighing as he took a breath and began to breathe fire, burning most of the skeletons to ash before more appeared,"well...this may be a problem..." The hybrid said nervously as he turn tail and ran, jumping on Dante who instantly awoke with wide eyes from the impact. "What is it?" The shapeshifter asked,"those skeletons are back!" Enfer cried, clinging to the shapeshifter in fear.

Echo was in her own home, stitching up a few dresses and clothes for herself and Rasmus, knowing he was growing to big for his shirts.
She stopped as she heard a weird sound. Scratching. Echo quickly went to the window, and her eyes widened at what she saw. Those....those....those MONSTERS were climbing her tree! Some were already up. More started pouring over her walkway railing.
She backed up quickly, screaming as they busted through the window.

Morphodoe turned and twisted in her bed. She couldn't get comfortable. She woke up with the noise of fighting that was probably coming from another room, but the noise was oddly loud. Finally giving up, she opened her eyes and sighed.
POOF
A bright blue rabbit landed hard on her stomach, making her sit up quickly, "Abergee, what are you--" She stopped. At the opposite wall from her bed were skeletons fighting her summons. Her eyes darted to the open window and saw a bony appendage pulling a skeletal body in.
Shoot, she forgot to lock the window. Abergee tackled Morphodoe so she was lying on her back and saw something white hit the wall above. Slipping out of bed, Morphodoe quickly helped battle the intruders and closed the window before any more could come. She slipped on her cloak and boots and went out into the hallway, leaving the door open for her summons to follow.
She went down a hallway and fought the skeletons that appeared, before continuing in search of anyone awake.

Speeding along the sky Echo's house quickly came into view, along with the faint sounds of a fight, aiming and hoping she wasn't about to crush the person she was trying to help Amaya dropped out of the sky and through the roof, crushing a skeleton under the combined weight of the roof and herself.
"Sorry, *cough* about the roof, ill help fix that." she gasped, dust and exertion burning her lungs, echo didn't exactly live close and she hadn't flown that fast in a long time.

Echo sighed, almost crying in relief as Amaya showed up. She kept herself in the corner she was backed up in. She was in her original form- the seven year old- and couldn't fight too well. She summoned her sword anyway. "There are a lot of them!" She looked at the ones still pouring through the window.

Elysium was having a ball.
These skeletons were each unique, most usually humanoid but a few totally animal. Happily, he picked apart another skeleton, favoring the teeth in particular before he dropped the remains, and began waltzing on his way to his little home within the woods. Barren, broken and burnt, the place looked abandoned to the unobservant. Humming a cheery tune, he swaggered into his room, extended another thin and spindly arm, opened one of his many chests, and began organizing his new collection of bones.
Sure, the skeletons were back, but that merely meant that he had new accessories! Maybe a bit of strife here and there, but what was that to him?
He grinned, selected for himself a nice pair of pearly white fangs, an slipped them into his mouth. How nice.

"Echo!" Enfer cried as he clung to the mindreader like a startled puppy, trembling as he felt the dis-emboddied hand of a skeleton cling to his tail and refuse to let go. Dante followed close behind, trying his best to hold back a laugh as he tried to pry the skeletons hand off

A weak barrier slows the advance of the skeletons long enough for Amaya to take up a defensive position at echo's side and drag the dragon and shape shifter into its protections.
"Is there anyone or anything we need to grab or can we abandon this place for now?" she said, twitching as her barrier cracked.

"We really need to get out of here and kill that necromancer. We'll never find rest if we don't!" she said readying her sword and taking her hat off once again. Nothing came out though, to her dismay but she still had her sword.

"Wait! Dante's wrong, there's someone I need to get." Echo moved through the barrier, her small body fighting of skeletons with her sword.

"Alright everyone stay close!" Amaya called, sweeping up echo and dropping her on her back, charging she scattered the skeletons aside, clearing a path to follow echos directions
