Gabriel Rowe had just brought in some new Jewels and Jewelry he was going to sell in his shop, but before they would go on the shelves he planned to polish them and categorize the oddities beforehand. That is why the merchant had taken them to his personal room and was now busy calculating the fitting price for each piece with the help of multiple long charts about the gem-kind, the work hours put in and et cetera. It was dim lighted in the room and he had just set himself up a new cup of tea when he heard, and smelled, another cultist approaching. Gabriel had met the person beforehand, he knew that, but where, he could not pin down. But he was sure he would find out soon, if the cultist had the intention to knock at his door. Maybe it had been someone he had invited over for tea. A custom the vampire had, to get to know the fellow members of this institution better. It already had let to multiple friendships and Gabriel was always eager to meet someone he had not yet met.

Enfer was down on all fours, his traditional way of walking...or sneaking, when he caught the scent of something he wanted. He followed the scent until he reached a door, the scent of tea and treasure caught his attention as he got up on his hind-legs and reached a hand up and began to knock on the door. He may have had a habit of stealing from most of the cult members here, but he wasn't rude when the items he wanted were in a cult members room--well, unless they weren't inside, that would mean he would easily pick the lock of the door with his claws, but that wasn't the type of situation he was in, now was he. The hybrid waited patiently as his ears twitched at the slight sound of footsteps approaching the door.

The vampire opened the door, blinking at the creature in front of him. He remembered where he had seen this one before. "Oh, hello." He stepped aside to make some space to let Enfer in. Gabriel had a good memory and people and what he remembered of the hybrid was, that he had been rather rude to a nice lady Gabriel had danced with later on.
Normally such a mindset was not appealing to the cultist, but he had not known the close details nor did he believe that one action defined a character. "Do come in, would you like a cup of tea? I'm sure I introduced myself back at the ball but, I'm Gabriel, it is a pleasure to meet you again."

"Hello Gabriel, my names Enfer...thank you for allowing me inside," The hybrid said, walking past the male as he admired the cult members room. His interest was captured by the sight of the gems and jewelry on the shelves as he walked over to it, his tail flicking from side to side as he tried to grab them only to be too short as he whined. He wanted those treasures but he couldn't get to them. Curse his shortness!

Gabriel closed the door and walked over to the table on the right middle of the room to put on the kettle that stood there. "I would appreciate if you could keep your extremities to yourself. I know every piece I own, in this room, and I would notice if one would go missing. Beside that, it is rather rude to try and steal from someone who invited you for tea, don't you think?" He still was sounding calmly and neutral towards the dragon. This was just a warning after all, nothing serious yet.
"If you want to own some of my Jewelry you need to do it the way everybody else does. By buying it from my shop." The vampire took out to cups from a drawer. "Now which tea do you want? I got over 100 to choose from." He waved his arm to said drawer he had taken the cups from, and indeed there were a whole lot of teas stacking up inside of the furniture.

Enfer turned his head to him and felt his tail droop as his flame dimmed. It had scared him. "I apologize for my actions..." Enfer said in a quiet voice, keeping his head down and his lips shut to avoid anymore scoldings. He heard his question and began to fiddle with his claws as he said,"anything is fine....as long as it doesn't have sugar in it." He couldn't stand the taste of it, nor could he digest it properly so he never bothered to eat it, knowing it always ended with something burning.

"I accept your apology." Gabriel nodded slightly, positively surprised at the others behavior. "Well I don't own any blends where sugar is added pre-steeping so you don't need to fear that. I presume a good simple breakfast tea is to your taste then?" He took out the package with said tea and stepped back to the table where the kettle had started to silently heat up the water inside. The vampire put just the right amount on tea in an infuser and hung it inside of the empty cup, before he went to get his own cup, which was standing on his desk. "I apologize for not making myself one too but I have just prepared a maté for myself before you knocked." He looked at the hybrid and smiled. "I have milk if you want that in your tea though, my friend."

"That sounds fine...thank you," Enfer said, watching as he prepared the tea, his curiosity getting the best of him. "It would be very kind of you if you could put some milk in mine," Enfer stated.

"Oh putting such things as milk or sugar into the tea is usually done by the guest himself since I don't know how exactly you like your tea and it should be the best possible outcome for you to enjoy the hot beverage." Gabriel looked up humming shortly before pointing at a chair. "Do sit down my friend. You are also free to take a pastry but I fear those have sugar as an ingredient. I apologize for that, I usually don't eat so I only have these sweets for guests." He poured the hot water into the cup. "Only 3 minutes and then you can take out the infuser and drink your tea." The man put the cup in front of the dragon before putting a small creamer beside."Is there any specific topic that comes to your mind about which we could converse over?"

"Not really...I'm not the type of person to start a conversation," Enfer said, glancing at the cup that was handed to him. He ran a finger around the rim of the cup, humming to himself as he waited for the tea to finish brewing.

"Mh I see." Gabriel sat down himself before taking a sip from his cup. " I understand if would not want to talk about this but, I would like to know what the reason was for your behavior when we met at the ball. Surely there must have happened something for you to react to Miss Jeu that way. I apologie if it might come off rude to ask this." It was not the best conversation starter but it was something they could talk about after all. if Enfer did not want to talk about this particular manner he would simply switch over to something else. At least he had some time to come up with a new topic until then.

Enfer tensed for a moment, before relaxing as he sighed and said, not bothering to turn to him,"Jeu kinda won something of great importance to me and I had a psychological break down..." Enfer explained, turning to the vampire.

The man looked at the hybrid, a warm look in his eyes. "Ah well, that must have been quite the throw back for you then. I am sorry for your loss on that one." He kept quiet for a moment. "Losing something important does a lot to people, so I think I understand now why you behaved that way. let's change the subject then. You looked at my jewels and jewelry rather interested when you entered my room." Gabriel let out deliberately that the other had tried to snatch them from the shelves."I have met another dragon recently so I am rather interested in your species, so do you collect gems as your hoard? I am sorry yet again that is too personal. you may asks some questions in return if you like."

"It's fine...my kind does have a habit of collecting valuable objects, I happen to keep things that are of great importance to me, such as books, gold, fabric, and weapons," Enfer explained with a smile as he leaned against the counter. He glanced to the jewelry on the shelves once again before looking at the vampire once again

"I see so all sorts of things. Mh, I do consider myself a collector of items too as you see here in my room. Jewels always had my interest even before I had become a merchant for such things, as well as books. What kind of books do you collect?" Gabriel took another sip from his tea while he tried to read into Enfer's body language. He still had no clue where to put the other, and it seemed that he was not much of a talker either. Well, there was only so much the vampire could try to do to get to know the other cultist more.
