(Everyone's a fairy)
Echo flew through the tall blades of grass, her crystal clear wings sparkling behind her and her blue dress fluttering in he wind. She headed straight to the water ahead. A few of her other friends were behind her, but she quickly lost them when she took the turn near the river. With a small wave of her hand, an arch of water was formed above her and she smiled, doing a small spin before letting the water fall, dousing her.
She laughed for a moment before a shadow passed over her, and the cry of 'Hawk!' was heard along with the horn. Echo looked up and her eyes widened with fear. The large birds were swooping in ahead of her, looking for fairies. Echo's breath caught in her throat and she quickly flew to a few flowers on the river bank, hiding under the large petals.

Enfer had heard the cry of 'Hawk!' and quickly hid along with the animals he was taking care of. He didn't expect to see another fairy come to his hiding spot as well. He tilted his head to the side, his wings fluttering as he asked in a soft voice,"is the hawk gone?" His violet and green eyes seeming to glow slightly.

Echo turned around, spotting the other fairy. She opened her mouth to respond when a screech from the Hawks made her quickly close it. "Nope." She squeaked. She kept quiet until the Scout fairies took care of the hawks. She took a deep breath a turned back to the fairy beside her. "All clear." She fluttered out from under the flower. The water fairy shook her head and looked up. "These attacks are getting more frequent."

Enfer fluttered his own wings, landing on the ground where a baby raven sat, trembling in fear. "There there, it's okay little one, we're safe," Enfer said, petting the birds beak with a soft smile. The little black bird chirped and nuzzled into his hand as Enfer smiled and went over to the other fairy. "You're right about these attacks...something must've happened to its nest or hunting grounds," Enfer said with his arms crossed

Echo landed near the river and pulled a large droplet of water from the line. "Maybe it was the Scouts...." She muttered. She flew the water to a group of dying flowers and let the droplet fall, dousing the plants as a Garden fairy flew over to finish the work. "I can't work with the Hawks always around. The fish get nervous." She sighed and patted a frog on the head when it stopped beside her.

"I could help...it's my job to help animals," Enfer said. The baby raven he happened to be taking care of was fluttering its wings, trying to fly as it hopped over to him. The animal fairy laughed and continued to pet the birds beak.

Echo shrugged and let the frog hop off, choosing to try to get the new water striders to cross the water. "The Scouts usually take care of the Hawks, I've never heard of an Animal fairy trying. That'd be dangerous." She said. She was just getting one of the striders to move when another fairy shot through, throughly splashing water everywhere. Echo let out a yell and the strider headed back to its friends. The water fairy took a look around for the intruder, only to realize it was just another water fairy and she rolled her eyes. "How nice of you to join us, Siccuro." The fairy smiled at her, mischief in his eyes. "I wanted to see if you were alright."

"I'm sure it can be done...if you take care of one when it's just a hatchling," Enfer said with a shrug. He flew over and landed on a lilypad, humming as he put a hand in the water, watching as ripples began to spread across the smooth surface. He watched as a fish swam by and trailed a hand along its back gently as it swam past.

Echo smiled as she walked into the water, laughing when tadpoles surrounded her. She gave each a hug and let herself float in the water. "So I hear the baby rabbits are going to start hopping soon." She called out to the animal fairy. Sicurro rolled his eyes at the girl and sat on a lily pad.

Echo turned around in the water and started floating the other way. "Almost done. All of the fish and tadpoles are ready." She said, her hair spreading out like a halo around her head. "We're still purifying some of the water for the rain."

Tarquin flew through the grass and flowers, headed to the river near the center of Pixie Hallow. The Queen had called an emergency fairy meeting so he and the other fast flying fairies were calling the others. He neared the water and saw three fairies talking. "Hey! Emergency meeting at The Pixie Dust Tree! Queen's orders!" He landed at the river bank and eyed the three. He only really recognized one, his long time friend Echo. He waved and gestured for them to follow him.

Enfer tilted his head to the side curiously. He wondered what the queen could want that was so urgent. "I guess we should go see what the trouble is," Enfer said, turning back to Echo as he opened his wings and flew off to follow the other fairy. "By the way, I never got your name...I'm Enfer," the animal fairy said, looking back at Echo.

Echo waved at Tarquin from the water and quickly took off from the river. She let Tarquin grab her hand as they flew, pulling her along faster than she usually flew. "I'm Echo. This is Tarquin." She gestured to the blue haired fairy pulling her along. "It's probably about the safety regulations we need to reinforce."

"Hello, and it's a smart idea to strengthen the defenses, we really need them...if only it were possible to tame one of those hawks," Enfer said, trying his best to keep up with the two as he thought. All he really needed was to ring an egg and he'd be able to tame the chick that hatched.
