EchoTarquin wandered through the forest, listening to the animals moving through the trees and brush with his advanced hearing. He stuck to the dark part of the forest, making sure the sun didn't touch his sensitive skin. His head shot up, his car ear hood flying off. A flock of birds were flying over head. He watched them as they flew, his eyes narrowing as the sound of larger wings reached his ears. His advanced sight helped him see farther, and a familiar face flew m, literally, into his line of sight.

Echo flew through the sky over the forest, trying to keep up with the flock of birds she was following. She kept going until her wings hurt. Deciding to land, she looked for an open spot in the trees and found one with little difficulty. She took a nosedive and quickly found herself in a dark area of trees. She dusted a few feathers out of her hair and looking around, a blue head of hair catching her eye. "Well well, Tarquin. Never really see you outside these days. What brings you out of the walls?" She smirked, crossing her arms and turning to her childhood friend.

Tarquin laughed and leaned against a tree. "Thought I'd go out for a walk. It gets stuffy inside after a while." Tarquin smiled and sauntered over to the girl. "You look good, Echo. Costume change? No boots?" He gestured to the girls bare feet. "Well. Now that you're out here, why don't we hang out?"

Echo smiled and walked over to Tarquin. "Why don't we go on a walk? Since you have the best hearing and sight, lead the way." Echo linked her arm with Tarquin's and tugged him forward until he began to walk. "You know, you're probably my favorite person in this Cult. You don't judge, and you're nice. And I've known you since we were little." Echo leaned her head on his arm.

Tarquin chuckled and began walking. "Well I can gladly say that you've always been my favorite person. And I'm pretty sure you've known my feelings for you for a while." Tarquin shook his head. "Oh look at that, moon flowers." Tarquin pointed to a group of white flowers blooming in the dark. He walked over and picked one, then walked back over to Echo and stuck the flower in her hair. "White suits you."

Echo laughed and shook her head. "Well it was pretty obvious. And I used to wear a white dress when I first joined the cult." She smiled. "Let's keep walking." She grabbed Tarquin's hand and pulled him along.

Tarquin smiled at the girl and let her tug him along. "This is like all of those corny pictures of girls pulling boys along." He laughed. "But you've always been corny, so I almost expected it." Tarquin smiled and shook his head, usually he's the one with the corny pick up lines, but Echo was like a corn festival.

Echo laughed and shook her head, letting his hand go and reaching up to ruffle his bright blue hair. "I can't help it, corny things just, flow out of me. It's part of my spectacular personality." Echo held her head up and laughed. "It's also part of my awkward personality."

"Spectacular, yes, awkward, also yes." Tarquin smiled. "So, have you ever actually gone on a date before?" He asked. He kept them walking until they came across a pond. "Hey, rocks."

Echo walked over to the rocks and sat down. "Don't know what you could consider a date. Me and Dante hang out all the time." Echo said. She looked down at the water, watching a few fish swim around.

Tarquin sat down beside her. He scooped up a few pebbles and began slipping them across the water. "Dante? I've never met him. I met Enfer, and he mentioned a Dante, but I don't think I've actually met him." He said.

"Ahem...that would be me," The shapeshifter happened to be in the mindscape at the time, just walking past until he saw the memories of Rcho and someone he didn't recognize. "Hello hummingbird...haven't seen you in awhile," Dante smiled as he pet Echo's head. He turned to Tarquin, looking down at the other and raised an eyebrow. "So may I ask who you are?"

"Hello. I'm Tarquin,Echo's childhood friend." Tarquin held out a hand. He was surprised, usually he would have heard or seen someone coming so close to them. "So you are the Dante Echo talks highly about."

Echo gave a small jump at the arrival of Dante. "Oh, hey Dante. Long time no see." She smiled at him. "Pull me up." She held out a hand to him. "I'm too lazy to get up on my own."

"Of course you are," Dante rolled his eyes and laughed as he pulled Echo up before shaking Tarquin's hand. "Well I'm Dante, I haven't known Echo since childhood but I met her at a young age," Dante said. His tail flicked back and forth like a metranome as he shook hands with the other.
