Enfer sat on the couch, his dragon like legs swinging back and forth as he waited for Echo to come back. He looked at the gem holding his cloak together and gave it a mournful look as the flame on his tail dimmed.

It was his most precious treasure and he gave it to me a couple days after we met," the more Enfer thought about it, the sadder he became, until he realized Echo was still standing there. "Uh, there's really no need to try to cheer me up though, I really shouldn't be sad over such a little thing."

Echo pushed his cape aside, studying the wound she answered him. "That's not cheesy at all. It's really sweet. Your mate sounds amazing. I wish I could have met him." She opened the box and brought out a paste, opening it and spreading it on the wound. "It's going to sting, sorry."

Enfer hissed through clenched teeth as he felt the paste begin to tingle, but the pain gradually died down as he continued speaking. "His name was Caleum, he was a white or ice dragon meaning he was very protective of one's dear to him. since he lived in cold climates it was hard for us to meet, but we made it work by meeting at the border of our territories,' Enfer was beginning to zone out as his flame grew brighter again and a smile graced his features.

Enfer snapped out of his daydreaming state and put a hand on Echo's shoulder. "Echo...I think I know someone who can help you. You see, dragons have many abilities that they gain when they come of age, mine happened to be my ability to manipulate different elements and help to heal others, but there's one ability that is so rare that I've only seen one gain it," Enfer said in a serious tone, his eyes wide without a single hint of him joking as he spoke.

"This ability allows one to bring back the souls of the dead, but it can only be used twice before the user needs to rest. I can take you to them now, we can wait about the injury later," Enfer said shifting into his dragon form, leaning his head down so his lime green eyes were looking into Echo's.
It was rare that Enfer was ever in his dragon form since he only used it to fly great distances or fight.
