Lydia stopped, her head turning at Zeltain's sudden call. "Oh-oh, what is it?" she asked, turning fully to face them. They hadn't decided they wanted more for the salve, did they? Not that she minded, but she'd been hoping to keep the bones for a future trade. Their low giggle from a couple seconds ago came to mind; was something the matter with the gold?

Evelyn had woken up that misty day a bit late as per usual, putting on a simple black dress with her usual polka dot stockings and boots. Preparing to head out to run some errands, she came upon an odd flier- Zeltain's Little Shop of Horrors? The name sounded familiar enough, and since she recalled him from some previous encounter, a grin took place on her lips. Looking down to her leather knapsack, she opened it up to reveal multiple bags of baked goods and other items that seemed to be of value on the colorful sheet of paper.
Might as well take a detour, right? A little visit wouldn't hurt! With a pep in her step, Evelyn Leigh was off to the shop, her dark dress billowing in the light breeze, the flames atop her candles flickering slightly, though not deterred.
It didn't take her long to finally come upon the shop with the help of some very odd guiding points... She payed no mind to it!
The candle demon reached for the door, opening it. She had a few specific items in mind, and she was hoping that Zeltain would have them. She was surprised to see a stranger there by the door already, and with a small duck of her head, she wriggled her way past them, "Oh, if you'll excuse me!" Came her sing-song voice, adjusting the straps of her bag. She was greated with an interesting change of scenery with all sorts of bobbles and trinkets. Perfect!
She gave a small smile and wave to everyone there before hastily winding through the shop, looking for an enchanted item- a deer skull, preferably with antlers and all of the teeth intact. It was mostly for Ralphie, the large sentient eye on her stomach. He was into that kind of stuff.

Lydia's eyes naturally followed the strange figure as they suddenly ducked under and past her and into the shop. "Oh, sorry," she said quickly, her mind wandering from the reason she hadn't left already to the stranger. She was bizarre in appearance to say the least; a beautiful stranger like someone she'd see while on a trip. In a good way. The way the person suddenly swooped upon the line of things made it appear like she was a regular, but that couldn't be possible, right? The shop had opened today.
She glanced back at the demon behind the counter, and wondered if they were friends. If Zeltain had a question for her, then maybe she'd take the chance to ask a question of them.

She traced her fingers along the various items as if they were the ivory keys of her piano. Swiftly, she picked up one particular bottle, eying the label closely. Humming in satisfaction upon seeing how classic the bad luck potion was, she set it back down before scouting towards the back- but not before flashing the indivual who she had passed within close space a cheesy grin.
Putting a hand on her cheek, she gasped. There on the highest shelf was the deer skull she had in mind- all teeth were there and not to mention a beautiful set of antlers. Jumping up, she reached it, reading the small description. Evelyn sauntered back to the counter before setting it down.

Oh dear. Lydia blushed at the other's grin, and found herself tracing the stranger's movements about the shop with her eyes. Like a work of art, she sped across the shop with a unique eloquence, poetry begging to be written. If only she had a pen. She resolved to making as many notes as possible on the person, from the crystals in her shoulders to the turquoise-teal flames sprouting from their horns. So many actions in such a short span of time; it was too much to keep up with, and she waved back at the shopkeeper. Whatever question they had, she'd answer it later.
"I'll stop by later, when you're less swarmed," Lydia said with a wave of her hand, and with one hand firmly gripped around her staff, she swung open the door she'd been trying to leave through for a good couple minutes now and departed.
It was a shame that she couldn't properly finish her conversation, but it was impolite to hold the attention of a busy shopkeeper. She'd be on her way, begin using the salve, and maybe tomorrow she'd drop by again to finish their conversation.

She pursed her lips as she watched the other leave. Evelyn took not of how their eyes followed her like the morning sun. It amused her! Yet- it also struck a little chord in her heart. No no, struck was a bit to robust; perhaps it plucked? Yes, that was much more suitable a term to use. Looking down at the deer skull, she reached into her bag, pulling out a sticky note to which she wrote down a simple note:
"Please reserve this item for your's dearest, Evelyn Leigh. I'll pay extra once I return to claim it!"
With that, she ran out of the shop, bidding the other's a simple farewell. Her new goal was to catch up to the gawking stranger! As if appearing out of no where, the candle demon now walked stride for stride with the other, giving a light-hearted smile, "My apologies for bothering you, though I never caught your name. I'm Evelyn. Evelyn Leigh." She now took the time to observe the other's features more closely; everything from their silky brown hair to the varied blue clothing which moved along with the other. Quite striking, in her own opinion!

Lydia turned at the stranger, Evelyn apparently. Up close it was impossible to hide that this strange person was scouring her appearance as she had done the same- not that she minded much, it was far from the unpleasant gawking men would do while she travelled around larger cities. Up close, she could sense the life energy that rolled off of Evelyn with her lively attitude- and frankly, it was a breath of fresh air. The Cult hadn't offered much in terms of such pure, ecstatic energy that wasn't tainted heavily.
Lydia smiled. "I'm Lydia Gallows," she said. "Nice to meet you, Evelyn." As she got a good look at the other lady's eyes for the first time, she suddenly froze up; they were pure white. Certainly not something you saw every day, and even with the diversity of the Cult it was an oddity enough to catch her off-guard. How interesting her DNA must be to allow her to see through white eyes, she thought, and instinctively reached out her free hand to the person.

Finally, Evelyn decided that she had seen all that was to be seen- in a physical sense, of course! She had no idea what the other was like, but first impressions came to mind. They appeared to be kind enough, and not to mention reserved. But that didn't deter her from walking close by as it was a natural habit when speaking to others. The name rolled around in her mind for a few moments before settling down in her memory. It was a name that rolled of the tongue, and Evelyn found it to be...
"What a pretty name you have!" She exclaimed, her melodious voice drifting along with the sudden breeze that slithered through the trees. Almost immediately, she took note of how to the other was staring right into her eyes. Blinking owlishly, her smile didn't crack, in fact, it might have slightly grown. It was normal for the other to be thrown off by her vacant eyes, in fact, most were. But that wasn't the oddest thing about her. Looking down, she stared at Lydia's hand befor shaking it with a rather soft grip, "Nice to meet you as well!"

Zeltain was thrown when suddenly two more visitors piled into their shop, and was quickly distracted by tossing the newcomers hellos' (lingering on Evie's familiar face for a moment) They had floated off to the side to watch the dragon-like boy inspecting some gems, before quickly remembering their question. Dangit, they were such a scatter brain sometimes. They glanced back over to Lydia, but barely in time to see her rush out the door. Dammit! Seconds later they saw Evelyn dash out after her and there they stood. Gained two and then lost two immediatly after. How curious.
They glided over to the counter where Evie had left the skull and with an easy smirk, placed it on hold underneath the counter. A sudden voice caused them to hit their head on the underside of the counter with a hiss of pain before popping up to look at the dragon boy who had approached them.
"Ouchouchouch- Uh, Barriers y'say? Depends on what sort of barrier you're looking for."

Enfer flinched when he heard the shop keeper hit there head. "Anything is fine as long as it keeps those annoying humans from stealing my things when I'm gone," Enfer said.

Echo walked around looking at everything. She had gotten a flier and decided to check it out. Some of the things here kind of scared the seven year old.

"Thanks," she said. Lydia shook, her smile growing at the compliment that came with the other's hand. With the touch of skin on skin, her fingers and entire hand tingled; as with exposure to all new DNA, her vision clouded for a moment as certain strains flooded her mind. It left her hanging for a second, not quite staring at anything. The entire intake took maybe a minute, and once it was over, she found herself grinning wickedly.
"I hope to see you around sometime," she said sweetly, loosening her grip once more. That wasn't too creepy, right? "If you don't mind, I'll be off now," she said, giving one last small smile before turning and making her way down the road towards home. She hadn't expected to gather any new samples when setting out, but since she had it would be a good idea to try and look into what made up such a beautiful creature.

"Just humans! Friend you could keep them away by simply growing some nettle around your place. But if you dont feel like growing plants around your house or were looking for something a little stronger..." Zeltain floated over the counter and around the shop, looking for a certain tincture.
"Solid barriers are powerful magical, and I don't really have anything to project one other than an amulet you definitely couldn't afford. But I can give you a trick that'll make any human feel like they're being burned the moment they step onto your property. That'll make them buzz off."

A small Noise was barley heard as a figure came though the door, going to look at some items as the Shop Keeper was distracted with others. As they looked around the shop you could have sworn to hear some audible grumbling and sighs from the being, almost to show a sign of disappointment in whatever they were looking at.

Echo gave a yelp as a crystal head beside her starting screaming, she jumped back, slipping on a rolled up rug and landing on her wings on the floor. "Ow..."
