Devu looked inside but didn't enter. They didn't fully trust any place that they've never been, especially when there's a chance of lurking danger. "Are we looking for something in particular?"

cthulu nodded. "there should be some sort of control panel that we would use to unlock one of the rooms where our friends are being kept. if we find it, there may be a chance that we can unlock one of the cells where our friends are being kept"

"That sounds reasonable." They slowly step inside the room and look around. There's furniture here and there and some dried blood splatters(whether that was recent or not didn't concern them), but no control panel in sight. "If we were the enemy where would we hide the control panel."

cthulu looked around, but soon found devu was right. there was no control panel. that was, until he spotted it. "okay, if this is like the movies, then the control panel should be right on the mismatched tile in the wall" he pointed to a piece of the wall toned slightly lighter than the rest of them.

Devu examined the wall carefully, and patted it to see if they could remove it. Their fingers brushed against a button and the wall popped right off, revealing a series of buttons and levers. "Looks like you were right."

Cell cracks the knuckles on his good hand. "Half of me dabbles..." He approaches the panel and starts gauging the effort re-scripting it would take. "Can't be more complicated than lab or precinct computers."

Cell takes his own device from his pocket and connects it to the panel, starting a remote hacking feature up. "It's just a human thing- a deep rooted belief that makes them think that their methods become useless unless they evolve with the times..." He rapidly enters code as he speaks. "Progress is a double edged sword however, the more doors you open to move forward- the more you leave open to those creeping up behind you." He regains his satisfied look as he hits "enter" and the overhead lights change from red to green.

Devu silently agreed with Cell, human progression is a rather fickle thing in their opinion. "I'm guessing you got in?" They sensed the sound of what might be footsteps in the distance. "... We might have company as well."

He stashes the remote relay back inside his hood pocket and nods. "The panel is mine and so is the central system. My relay will monitor the panel remotely and keep me in control should anyone come along to mess with my modifications-" He checks his timer and takes notice of the lapse that's occurred. "- and I do believe our time is up. We should move. Quickly."
