Cell pivots and reorients himself to the ceiling with one swift motion. "Can y'all fight without sight? If so then I'm about to stack the odds in our favor-" He moves his hand over one of the small pouches on his belt. "Say the word and I'll blind these stiffs."

cthulu smiled, showing all fangs. " go and blind em." he readied his tentacles for another strike into the gaurd on the left.

Cell nods and disappears into the shadows of the ceiling, moving as a thicket of black thorns across it. He passes over the heads of the incoming guards and assumes his corporeal form again, at the same time he pulls a small bead from the pouch on his belt. He lobs it at the feet of the guards with a hell ton of force and once it hits the floor it explodes into a bright colored cloud of chemicals and volatile phosphorus. He then moves to attack as the guards begin to outwardly panic.

Devu dives into the fray as well, the stones on their gloves already beginning to steam from heat and uppercuts the guard in the middle straight through the jaw. Not wanting to get in the others way, they grabbed the guard before they could recover and pivoted to a different side and punched the guard in the ribs for good measure, already hearing the snapping ribs.

Cell takes notice of the heat emanating from Devu's gloves and a sly grin forms under his mask. A part of his memory recalls the spells taught to him not long ago by Hecate, and drawing a line through the air he begins to chant. "PeriorĂste kai anaflĂ©gontai" The line he drew, connecting Devu and the second guard, creates a contained explosion from the heat of his gloves onto the phosphorus in the air, engulfing the guard in a colored chemical blaze. The remaining cloud in the room remains untouched, but the guard burns brighter and hotter than the blue flames of the cults candles.

Devu hears Cell chant and is only somewhat surprised when the punch causes an explosion. He steps back before the guard can touch him and chuckles at the way their squirming in flames. "A rather tasteful edition to the scenery." They comment, watching the flames continue to burn.

Cell chuckles darkly as the new corpse smolders to cinders on the ground. "The phosphorus is usually just for show- makes the gas change colors. However, after seeing that heat source on your gloves I couldn't help but draw an ignition line. Always love seeing worms writhe in that polychromatic inferno." Cell turns on his heel and whips a thorn vine around the throat of the last guard, lashing back and lacerating his trachea. "Hell, fun times all around honestly."

Devu chuckles again and looks around at the corpses of the guards. "Now all we need to do is find where everyone is being kept." Devu kneels over one of the guards and touches it, examining their memories before they met their end. "How convenient." Devu says while pulling the fading reel, almost from thin air. "I have the directions for cells 1 and 3. Choose your pick."

Cell pulls his relay device back out and switches the function to a messaging application. After a few seconds of rapid typing and an audible 'ping' he returns his attention to the group. "Source intel and the guards shift info both point to cell block 1. Fewer guards and closer in proximity."

"True. We can get rid of them if we have to, though. The less amount of trouble we run into, the faster we can get them free." Devu said as he started to head in the direction of cell block 1. The reel still present in his hand and glowing with a faint flame. "Follow me."

Cell follows and sends a few sprites ahead of them, keeping watch around corners and acting as an early warning system should a stray guard be wandering where they're not wanted.
