"Okay!" Enfer shouted back as he opened the window and looking down to see some sand that surrounded the bottom of the tree, he could use that to make a ew window after heating it enough. The hybrid was cautious as he climbed through the open window and got some sand, making sure that Vermiculus wasn't around as he began to fly back up to the window only to have a dagger go directly into his wing and cause him to plummet to the ground, writhing in pain.

Enter whimpered as Echo landed beside him, he tried to bend his wing only to find it pinned to the ground like a butterfly. "Echo, get it out...it hurts..."he pleaded flapping his right wing while his left twitched trying to mimck the right.

"Thank you Echo," Enfer flapped his left wing to see if it was fully healed then took the egged from Echo and threw it at a nearby tree only to have it caught by Vermiculus.
"Hmm, I see you're good with magic little bird...interesting. Now, I'm done playing games pet, It's time to go back home or I'll drag you back unconscious again," Vermiculus said, pulling out his daggers, one between each finger. Enfer shook his head, sticking beside Echo as Vermiculus narrowed his eyes, glaring at the hybrid.

"It's an order, pet," The Puppeteer snarled. Enfer hissed in pain as his brand began to burn and he unconsciously walked toward the Puppeteer, feeling a sense of relief as the burning dulled until it stopped completely as Vermiculus put his daggers away and petted his head. "Such an obedient let--now, let's head back home."
Enfer didn't want to leave as he looked back at Echo and began to follow the Puppeteer, feeling as though there was a collar around his neck choking him everytime he tried to escape.

Enfer was surprised by th sudden barrier, but also relieved as he hugged Echo, thanking her a million times over. "Thank you so much Echo."
Vermiculus looked at the barrier with interest, taping it with one of his daggers and watching as it bounced off like glass. "My my, you put up a pretty strong barrier for a beast of your age range..." The Puppeteer whistled and his other beast, a giant wolf came running toward them, growling at the sight of the barrier. "But I'm pretty sure Shiro can bite a hole in it," Vermiculus chuckled, giving his beast the command to attack and the wolf lunged at the barrier, bouncing off a couple times as I tiny crack went unnoticed and grew bigger each time the wolf attacked.

The wolf soon grew tired as it backed away from the strengthened barrier with a low growl as golden eyes stared into Enfer's violet ones. The hybrid felt a sense of fear as his tail curled around his ankle.
Vermiculus pet his beast and glared at Echo with a look that could kill,"well done little bird, not many people can withstand Shiro's attacks...but I will be back for my pet," the pup said, glancing to Enfer for a second as he turned to leave with his beast, something shining catching Enfer's eye as the puppeteer walked off.

He walked out of the barrier, and picked up the object and instantly made his way back inside before seeing what he had dropped. Enfer's eyes widened in shock and terror as he held a piece of his gem that Vermiculus destroyed. The hybrid held it close, tears starting to well up in his eyes as he choked back a sob.

"M...My heart....it...it's a piece of my heart..." Enfer murmured nuzzling the gem shard then turning to Echo who looked both concerned and confused. "When a dragon gets a gem from their mate...it becomes a part of the dragon who it's given too, so the gem Caleum gave me became my heart in a way. Vermiculus shattered it...breaking my heart..." Enfer said, looking at the blue gem in his hands.
