She turned back to Echo, giving her a small shrug. "It's kinda hard to ignore when when he's screaming at you. Doesn't take an all-powerful demon to hear that. I mean, I'd basically have to be deaf not to hear it."

Y'know that's a lie little hummingbird. I'm only nice to that kid because dragon boy here almost tore me apart once.
Dante crossed his arms, creating a more solid form, even though he still looked like a shadow, he looked a lot like Enfer but with darker features. Enfer on the other hand kept his mouth shut as his tail drooped like startled dog, he always knew from what he was taught as a hatchling to never attack or argue with someone higher ranking than you even though alpha, beta, and omega probably don't exist here, but in his head he ranked different members as such. Eve would be considered an alpha in his eyes as he let out low growl showing the true difference between him and Dsnte.

Dante smirked, moving to the side as the rock flew past his head. "I don't think so hummingbird, you clap your wings a mile per minute and your eyes remind me of the feathers on a hummingbird," Dante said with his signature Chishire Cat grin

Echo's cheeks turned red, the blush reaching her ears. "I only fly like that because my wings are little! I have to wait a few years before they get bigger!" Echo said, indignant. She hated her wings, and Dante knew that.

"Haha! Isn't that cute...your face is as red as a cardinals feathers," Dante said, his shadowy wings fluttering with each laugh as he gave a genuine smile which was very rare to be seen. Enfer noticed how Dante was acting and snickered, seeing how this only happened to Dante once in his entire life.

Enfer pet Echo's head as he put an arm around her shoulder and said with a snicker,"y'know, Dante is in his little cloud nine mode at the moment so his insults should be really considered compliments," The hybrid held back another burst of laughter as he approached his alter-ego, knocking on his head getting no response from Dante as he kept his eyes on the mindreader.
"I've never seen him act like this ever since he fell for the human a while back," Enfer said, knowing that the girl would understand by now.

((Okay, I'll start it somewhere else, but I just wanted to get a perfect reaction and I F-ing called it! Sorry for making u choke. lol.))
Enfer nodded, still stifling a laugh. "Dante rarely goes into cloud nine, so it would be best to deal with him later while we stick to the main problem at hand," Enfer said, mumbling something under his breath about how Dante needed to snap out of it already as he stepped on Dante's tail, getting a yowl of pain from him as he glared at Enfer.
"Good to have you back...lover boy," Enfer snickered at the last part as Dante couldn't come up with a response, wrapping himself in his wings as his body turned slightly transparent.
