Rasmus grinned, excited to hear this. "Thanks Echo...Rasmus, why don't you go chase those birds over there and see if you can catch us a snack," Enfer said, putting a hand on the child's head as Rasmus turned toward the flock of birds that had just landed sand stalked over to them on all fours, lunging at them, only to have them fly away as the little dragon continued pouncing on them, laughing as they flew away.

The ring of fire evaporated into the air and reappeared on Eve's head, flickering with annoyance. She sighed with relief as the younger dragon was distracted by another winged creature, a bird if she remembered correctly. "Great, so now if that's done, I'm gonna fly before you decide to piss me off even more, okay?"

Echo looked up at her. "Wait, what about that movie?" She asked. It kind of hurt that her new friend was leaving.

Eve cringed at the pleading in the girl's eyes. She'd accepted that she was pretty heartless, but saying no to her would probably damn her permanently to hell (though that probably was already the case with her). Although, considering what's happened so far since she'd arrived, she wasn't entirely sure she wouldn't take the former option over the possibility of dealing with something like this again.
"Uh... Look, I'm kinda busy and... Erm... I kinda have to take a rain check?" The angel replied tentatively, trying hard not to hurt her feelings.

Rasmus stopped playing with the birds for a momennt to run back over to the group, looking up at Eve with puppy dog eyes as he asked,"i...is new, fr...friend leaving?" Rasmus asked, tilting his head to the side, a sad look in the little dragons eyes.

Why did everyone think of her as their friend? All she'd been doing is insulting them and they kept bothering her in turn. Her qualifications for a friend had to be way different than theirs, because if simply talking to someone make them automatically their friend, they were gonna get themselves killed.
Nonetheless, she turned to the smaller dragon, despite being annoyed with him, still didn;t make eye contact with him since she knew she would give in immediately. "Uh, yeah, I'm gonna leave. It was um..." Would saying 'nice meeting you' make it a lie? Probably. "I'm just heading out. I'll be back later."
Hopefully later enough where'd they'd leave before she got back.

Echo nodded sadly, looking down at the flowers. "Okay." She said softly. Maybe that was best, it's past her and Rasmus's nap time anyway.

Rasmus didn't want her to leave as the corners of his eyes began to tear up and he opened his mouth to let out a loud sob that was loud enough to scare a flock of birds out of a couple trees. Enfer instinctively ran over to his hatchling, and comforted him, not being effected by the ear-drum shattering sound,"hush Rasmus, even though she's telling a lie..." Enfer mumbled under his breath, quiet enough for only him to hear,"we have to leave eventually and get you back home, you must be tired," Rasmus' sobbing began to quiet down as Enfer spoke to him, but tears continued to stream down his cheeks as he buried his face into his mother's chest, feeling himself relax at the sound of Enfer's heartbeat.

Echo laid back, closing her eyes and nodding off in with soft grass. The sound of the trees lulled her even deeper into her sleep. "I need my nap....."

"Echo, you should head back to your treehouse if you're tired," Enfer said, gently shaking the girl as he carried Rasmus in one arm, the younger dragon beginning to fall asleep as well as he yawned, wrapping his arms around Enfer's neck as he started to nod off.

"I believe it would be best if we left as well, Rasmus is getting very tired," just as Enfer said this, the little dragon yawned and nuzzled into Enfer's chest, falling into a deeper dream like state. Enfer laughed, running a hand through his hair as he said,"I guess I'll see you later Echo," Enfer shifted into his dragon form, the sleeping hatchling laying on the Wyverns back, Enfer glanced back at Eve, his lime green eyes cold as he blew a puff of smoke out his nose, as Enfer flew into the air with one flap of his wings.
