Echo walked up behind Eve, the grass tickling her bare feet and her white dress blowing in the slight breeze.
"I don't know who you were expecting but I'm assuming you're mad." She raised her eyebrows with a knowing look on her seven year old features.

Enfer was helping his son Rasmus learn to fly as the younger hybrid struggled to stay in the air, getting caught by Enfer everytime he fell. Rasmus had fallen almost ten times and was on the verge of tears as Enfer pet his head, picking up the little hatchling,"don't feel said Rasmus, when you get older your wings will develop."
The hybrid looked around when he suddenly heard the sound of two voices, one very familiar. Rasmus grinned, squirming out of Enfer's arms as he ran toward the sound of the two voices, clinging to Echo's arm like a kola as Enfer followed raising an eyebrow at the conversation that was happening. "Hey Echo, is something happening over here?"

Echo looked down in surprised at Rasmus. "Oh, hi Rasmus, hi Enfer. Eve's upset. I'm trying to find out why." Echo say down, pulling Rasmus in her lap and resting her chin on his head. "Eve, who upset you? And why won't you apologize?"

Rasmus giggled, letting out a little chirp which would be considered his roar, but his vocal cords were to young making his roar sound a lot like a puppy barking. "Yeah, if you're upset, you should tell us," Enfer said, sitting beside Echo as he looked to Eve.

Eve flinched a bit when she heard the young girl's voice followed by the hybrids, but feigned indifference by remaining on the ground.
"I'm fine." She replied coldly. "So go on do whatever it is you do in the cult, because I'm just peachy."

Rasmus tilted his head to the side, crawling over to Eve and said,"Y...Yo-You, sou...sound an-anger...angry. Why?" Rasmus struggled to pronounce certain words since he was only a toddler in dragon years.

Echo watched Rasmus get up. "Eve, what happened? You can't keep things bottled up." She messed with a few flowers in front of her.

Her eyes flared as she sat up, her back turned to them and fists clentched. "Nothing! Everything is fine, I'm fine, it's always just freakin' fantastic! So you can just leave!"

"I don't think so, not until we find out what's causing you to act like this," Enfer said with a growl, he was mainly growling because he scared Rasmus when she shouted. "Come here Rasmus," Enfer said as his son climbed into his lap, nuzzling into Enfer as he felt comforted by the older hybrids heartbeat. "Can you at least tell us why you're out here by yourself?"

Eve drew back as the child ran back to his parent in fear, and the sight caused a pang of jealously she ignored. "What is with this cult and their stupid loyalty urge? I'm out here because I want to be alone. I'm used to being alone. So if you want be to be happy, then you can go and leave me alone!"

Enfer ran a hand through Rasmus' hair, smiling as the child began to relax, then he looked back to Eve thinking he understood when she said that she was used to being alone,"trust me, nothing about this cult is very loyal from time to time...and I doubt any creature would want to be alone, I've known that my entire life after I killed my own family in cold blood," Enfer stated, sighing as he nuzzled Rasmus. "So if I'm thinking over this correctly, you lost someone or you've just been like this your entire life, even before you jointed the cult."

Eve couldn't help chuckling at the last part. It was... desirable, considering everything else. She stood up and faced the other two, the fire in her eyes extinguished.

"Oh? And may I ask what it is you did deal with," the hybrid asked a sharp-toothed grin as his eyes were now red with black scleras. Rasmus sensed the change in his mother looking up and giggled as he hugged him tighter and said happily,"Dante!" Dante pet the child's head,"it's good to see you too kid."
