I'm fine with nsfw, though not over the top... and the most I ask is that I am given time to reply so I'm not lost in my own rp?? But honestly, I like it lawless!
The creature did not particularly like the forest. Sometimes the trees made them feel suffocated, and trapped. They closed their burning eye and allowed the gentle breeze fan the flame that kept them afloat, and they felt themself rising. When they opened their eye they let out a bark of pleased laughter. They'd made it to the canopy, almost above the tallest tree, and it was beautiful. Resting on a nearby branch, Neve gazed up at the sky.
"So... lovely..." Their eye dimmed a bit, calmly, as they took in the light of the silver moon.
It was a bit lonely. The large thing wondered who else was about.

Ennared by the wonders of the entrancing world around her, Shadow happily pranced about. She shifted repeatedly from her shadow form and back, eager to see many things. A smile in her face, though hidden in her mask, and a skip in her step she was eager to meet new and inspiring creatures.

Sounds alerted them to the presence of someone else, and Neve quickly hid themself in the shadows. They peered down to the forest floor, only to see another figure dancing around. Eye glowing a little brighter, the creature evaluated this other being. It did not seem particularly menacing aside from their mask, and the way it moved wasn't threatening at all. Deciding to interact with it most likely wouldn't bring much harm to either of them, so they cupped their hand to their mouth to amplify their quiet voice.
"You there!"

Shadow whipped around. Her attention caught by the sudden outcry.
Her eyes darted about before resting on a distant creature in a long green coat. Tilting her head in curiosity, she quickly waved in response.
"Hello there!'

"Greetings!" they responded, head tilting to the side, observing the hand wave. The creature returned the gesture with a single wave of their long arm. It was obvious the other figure was friendly, so Neve provided a toothless grin. Nice things were not to be taken lightly. "Who might you be?"

"I am Shadow. A member of the candle cult." She replied kindly with a respective bow. "I'm assuming you are as well."
Stepping closer Shadow admired the toothless grin and in turn removed her skeletal mask to reveal her human like face. "How do you do?"

Neve considered floating back down, then diminished the thought and merely continued to smile at their companion.
"Yes, I am Neve. I am doing well, up on this branch. Are you faring well down there?" They were quite charmed by Shadow's face and their black flame flickered.

"For what reason do you wander so far into the Forrest?" She asked curiously, her masking disappearing into the shadows. She wondered the same about herself but dismissed the idea.

"To clear my head," the creature offered. They leaned back on the thick, rough trunk, breaking off little twigs from their branch. "I could ask you the same question, now couldn't I? What are you doing here?" Neve stopped smiling, so, so curious.

His smile gone, shadow was hesitant to reply. "The night is when I am free to travel without the restrictions of day." She said cautiously, digging the tip of her foot into the ground.

Switching to their kinder, gentler feminine voice, they attempted to show Shadow they were still being nice. "Restrictions of the day..?" Questions were not always welcome but they continued nonetheless. "Could you elaborate?"

Shadow sheepishly grinned, "During the day its quite straining to maintain a physical form. I am a shadow after all." A quiet giggle passed through with calming warmth. "During the day its easier to be myself."

They nodded, smiling just slightly. "I see.. " A small chuckle reverberated through the air between them. "Daytime is quite bothersome, isn't it?"

"Without a doubt." she sighed, a pleased smile on her face. Clapping her hands together, Shadow gleefully spun about. "The night is sooo much better!" she cheered, before throwing herself back and falling onto the ground.

They sighed slightly, watching the happy shadow. "Agreed.." Their eye flicked to Shadow. "Don't hurt yourself, now.."
