She didn't stop snarling at him, but her smoke loosened considerably and those sunset eyes went back to being blue. "My best interests were compromised when he joined." Her smoke completely let go of him, but not before shifting to small clawed hands that left welts across the brand on his neck. "And he is mine, despite what those mongrels think." Tapi moved away from the two of them, finally returning to her normal form save the slightly taller than normal flame above her head. "So what then. What's your amazing, brilliant plan to get my cult back."

Tea shuddered as he was released only slightly, casting his eyes down upon being declared property. One would think he'd be used to it by now.
But even now he preferred the person threatening to maim him to his true masters. "I want out," he whispered, again like the Puppeteers might hear him. "I want out and I can tell you how to get the others out of their bonds." It'll just require trickery.

"Fine. Whatever. We'll get you out." She spat, pinching the bridge of her nose and sighing rather dramatically. "You're going to be in so much fucking trouble later though. Do you know how much a dent this puts in my pla-" Tapi paused and gave another heavy sigh. "It doesn't matter. You came to Chronic." She turned back to them and crossed her regular arms across her chest, looking more like a pouting child than a pissed adult. "That means your plan involved her." Tapi looked over at the woman in question, mouthing setting into a straight line as she thought for a moment. "And so, did you agree?"

"To help out Tea?" She pretended to think over it. "Yes. It sounds like it could be interesting enough." She walked across the room and sat down against the wall. "Not like I have much else to do."

Tea was trembling again, glancing to Chronic. He vaguely worried over not keeping his eyes on the cult leader. "Your tar. You've used it on me in the past."

She snorted and dropped into one of the few chairs in the room. "Don't soil your panties pansy. I'm not going to kill you." Tapi rested her chin in her hand and let a small flame spark in her free hand. "So you want her to treat those pups like her corpses."

"I don't particularly like to do that," she sighed, using her legs as armrests. "But why would you want me to control them? Wouldn't it just be better to end their lives? Not that I care for that part either." That or take down those in control. Kill the head of the snake and the rest of the beast dies. Or so they say. At least then it should be easier to manage the damage.

Tea let out a stuttered breath. "Killing the master doesn't free the beast. The beast is only really free if the master renounces the bond. And," he bit his lip before continuing, "none if them will easily concede but my master," who had already claimed so many cultists, "will need more than persuasion or intimidation." He lowered his voice, utterly terrified of being heard. "He needs to be forced." Or else Lola and many others will be stuck in the aimlessness that is puppethood.

She kept her complaints to herself as she nodded. "Fine. So you want me to take over his will and make him concede his bonds with his beasts? And will this help us in anyway?"

"This will restore their free will fully if he has managed to take it totally. It will also detract his power gained through beasts considerably." Tea's heart sank when he sensed her reluctance. "If I'm asking too much tell me."

"She'll do it." Tapi looked at Chronic and the flame in her hand flickered out. "It's killing Problem to see all this happen and she almost tried killing all of us when she found out what happened to Ash and Grey." A scalding look was shot at Tea before she continued. "I've got her tucked away and her flame diminished so she's unconscious. But I see how you stare at her," and her ass, she thought briefly. "Besides. Imagine if a certain cat got caught up in all this."

"I thought I told you how I felt about threats," Chronic said lightly, though under her mask she glared. Her skin felt tight as she reigned in her anger. "I should leave you all to die. Better yet, why not just join new people in power?" She chuckled humorlessly. "If you keep with your threats Cult Leader... I will take you." She turned her head back to Tea. "What do you need me to do?"

Tea stiffened at the bickering momentarily. "I . . . if I could," he took a moment to gather his thoughts. Then he asked, "How easy is it to get your tar inside of someone without them realizing?" If there was a way, he would do it without hesitation.

"She has it inside us both already. And I certainly didn't realize it. What, a small handful is all you need to control someone?" Tapi was smug. Yes, she'd regret threatening Chronic, but she would handle that later. For now she was more focused on the matter at hand.

"It is easy. Some people are just so trusting when they are given something they want. So weak to greed," Chronic put dryly, ignoring Tapi. "It can easily be transferred by blood of someone already affected, though the tar cannot be dormant in this case. If that's not possible, they just need to have it enter them in some way. Being stabbed, having it ingested, anything really."
